1 star is too much for this place. Trap hole roaches dirty sheets crack heads on bikes all night. Rude staff black mold on the roof, AC smell dank and of old cigar cigarettes. Had to leave at 2:30am and rent across the street because I started to feel sick in my throat. Was in the room for 35 min till we decided it was unbearable worst hotel I have ever seen. Disgusting

if you consider staying at this place, this is my experience. I had to find a place to stay in ocala for a few days, it was 8 pm. the lady working there communicated through a tiny slot in a window which seems unusual, i was not allowed to come inside the lobby Even to write my pin when paying with card. i asked nicely and the lady refused and wanted me to write it on a piece of paper. i ended up having to show it written on my phone, this seems very illegal. i had to sign a paper and it said «no refund» and AFTER that i was told «room service» would knock and enter my room every morning even without my permission i asked for the specific time and the lady refused to tell me and showed bad attitude. the door had NO security lock except the normal keycard operated lock, i felt unsafe and like i had no privacy, the ac was off the room was hot the fridge was unplugged and even when i plugged it in they had also turned off the switch inside the fridge so i had to do that too just to use what was already there. I checked out early and found a different place. it was also way overpriced.

Despite the rough look on the outside, this was a very nice hotel! We stayed here on a last minute notice as other hotels in the area were outrageous or booked already. We checked on for one night and got to our room. We were expecting it to be small and somewhat grimy, but we were totally wrong! The room was huge, a nice sized bed, with a table, TV, fridge and microwave. The tile was clean and the room smelled fresh too. We slept well here and felt safe. The only area that was a bit small for us was the shower, but that was not a big deal. For the location and price, this place is a steal! We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

My wife and I were helping an older homeless man who has poor health. Feet were swollen, has a heart condition and the government stopped sending him a check so, it’s not something he chose. He served our country and he deserves the help. The husband at this hotel was willing to let Raymond stay. I payed 210$ for 2 nights and as we were going into the room the wife runs out screaming profanity and screaming at the man saying she doesn’t allow people like him to stay there. She started flipping me off and screaming threatening me letting me know that she is crazy and threatening me with not returning my money and so on. Meanwhile my wife and kids were watching her. Raymond started to tear up and apologizing to my wife and I. Honestly how would this woman feel if the tables were turned and people told her she wasn’t allowed to eat at a restaurant, enter a store or even stay in a warm room for a couple nights. That’s all Raymond wanted a warm shower and a bed for a couple nights. Its getting colder out so anyone who reads this pray for Raymond and especially pray for the lady who owns/runs this hotel. I pray that God will soften her heart in Jesus mighty name

There were no other places to stay. Busy festival weekend at Silver Spring (knap-in). On the phone, I was quoted $75 (or so I thought). Upon arrival, however, I was told $95. I wound up paying $105 with the taxes. The people running it were very nice and helpful, but according to online price listings, I think I was taken advantage of. Room key didn't work the first time, but I quickly got one that did.|| I should have checked the room first before I took it though. The smell was brutal. I have slept in some rough places over the years, between the military and working in the field. I once had a better night's sleep, and less stink, sitting up in a Port o Potty (no joke). The AC was not on so the stench was palpable on entrance. The room was tiled and the floor looked clean. Big screen on the wall, but no fridge or microwave so I didn't get to eat, nor did I want to after 2 minutes inside. || I only brought in my sleeping bag, a sheet, a hat, and a sweater for fear of contamination and am so glad that I did. Thank goodness I had brought air freshener, but that only covered the smell for 15 minutes or so at a time. I was genuinely tempted to sleep with the door open, but there were weird people wandering around outside. I didn't dare turn on the air, because I was afraid it'd just stir it up more....think mothballs [overwhelming, almost to the point of gagging] and wet socks [slight] to the point that it's all you can taste. || I spread the bag over the bed so I wouldn't accidentally touch the comforter if I rolled, and slept with the sheet tucked in around my head to cut down on the smell. I would immediately wake up if it came unwrapped because of the smell. There was also an odd, locked door inside my room that I couldn't access, in the hallway next to the bathroom. I assume it was an utility closet, but all I could think of, all night, was some creepy clown murderer would be popping out and standing over me at 2 am with a knife. As a small female, traveling solo, you tend to be paranoid sometimes. Around 12 am, I was wishing it would hurry up and happen, so the stink headache would go away. || Instead of a second night, I slept in the back seat of my truck at Publix. Even with the street sweeper waking me up around 3:30 am, and the cold weather, I slept much better, though my sleeping bag and pillow still reeked like the hotel. I need new ones. I'm pretty sure that I left my license at the front desk, but when I called the person who answered said it wasn't there. Not sure I want it back at this point...... Only positive there was that staff was very polite.

This is the absolute worst motel I've ever stayed at. The only positive nothing I can say is that they have big rooms. That's it. The bathroom sink was leaking and wouldn't work at all, the knob in the shower was broken so it was hard to turn the water on and off. The sheets were yellow and had burn holes in them in as well as the blanket so my husband I stripped the bed and used our our own. When you first open the door to the room there's a smell of mildew and it's very strong. And for some odd reason they do not have a fridge nor microwave like other motels. Bottom line: we'll never stay here again. It's not worth the money. I've stayed at way better for the same price here in Ocala.

The room smelt nasty, floor was nasty, toilet seat was split in two, the bed had one flat sheet and no fitted sheet, the room had 2 old towels, one washcloth, 1 small soap, we forgot our shampoo and of course the room had office had none. Do not stay here trust me. Roaches on the shower curtain and on the walls.

The most amazing experiences can be had with friends here. We saw monkeys, manatees, snakes, alligators, birds, and fish in the wild. Yes that’s right, wild monkeys. Come see them!!! Don’t get too close though! Super wonderful place.
