Regency on Beachwalk Waikiki by OUTRIGGER - Featured Reviews (289)
Pros: |1. good location & within walking distance to most shops, restaurants, & beach. |2. Spacious condo: we stayed in 2 bedroom; living room, full kitchen|3. Friendly staff|5. Great price for Waikiki location ||Cons:|1. Room located on top of pizzeria & Japanese restaurant which food smells & fumes poured into our room; couldn’t open the balcony without the smell|2. No cleaning services even though we were there for 9 days? Had to take out our own trash. Poor broom/dust pan…I couldn’t keep the floors clean!?|3. Dated rooms; old furniture; poor drainage bathrooms.
While this condo lacks the great views of the beach that many desire, it offers a great stay. We aren't the kind to sit around in a condo. We are an out and about crew. It's a two minute walk to Waikiki Beach (the condo has beach chairs to take with you), and a five minute walk from more than a dozen great eating establishments. The bedrooms are very comfortable, easy to keep cool, and the bathroom was super nice. My wife loved the washlet in the bathroom. I had plenty of places to run along the beach and down what I called "the magnificent mile" (high dollar stores). I would stay here again without question!
We had a suite for my two children, their spouses and babies at this condo.|The suite was a perfect size for four adults and two babies with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.|My wife planned this trip over a year in advance and all went well. |I do have to give a shout out to Zach and Marjury for accommodating us with some special services and parking for our three nights stay on Waikiki Beach🌴.|I highly recommend this location next to the Outreach Rigger Reef hotel.|Enjoy!!|Aloha 🌺🌺🌺
Great location, fantastic views. Nice cozy place for family. Wish service was a bit faster, asked for extra bath towels three times in a day, concierge did not reply until a couple hours later and we were not given towels until after asking profusely.
We recently had an extended stay at The Regency and had a wonderful time there. Although we arrived quite late at night, we were warmly greeted as we got out of our taxi and were helped with bringing our luggage into the lobby. Checking in was quick and simple.||We rented a 1-bedroom unit. The units are rather dated and on the smaller side but as there was only two of us, it was adequate and the rooms were clean.||The unit consisted of a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, a 4-burner cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and other sundry items. (Having a longer stay, it would have been nice to have a stove). There was also a kitchen table with four chairs. The bathroom had a large shower and toiletries were provided - soap, shampoo, etc. A comfortable queen-sized bed was in the bedroom together with plenty of storage. There was a sofa bed in the living room plus an additional chair. Another table with four chairs could be found on the lanai - a good place to eat lunch and watch the activity below or even to watch the Friday night fireworks display.||Because we were there for a longer period, we had weekly housekeeping services. For shorter stays, no one enters the unit, however, if additional items are needed (sheets, towels, soap, etc.) or garbage needs to be removed, it just takes a simple call to the front desk. There is onsite paid laundry on Floors 2 & 7.||The current cover photo for the condo showing a big swimming pool is deceptive as there is no pool on site. The pool shown is at the Outrigger Reef, a block away which can be used by anyone staying at the Regency. We didn’t use the pool but it looks lovely and is only a short walk away. It is no more than a 5-minute walk to the beach which is accessible by a pathway beside the Reef.||The hotel is located near numerous restaurants, coffee shops and other shopping. The main Waikiki area is a short walk away. Even the far end where the Zoo and Kapi’olani Regional Park are located is only some 15 minutes and walking there is a great opportunity to watch the surfers and the beach volleyball players.||Without a doubt, the number one highlight of our stay has to be the wonderful service we received from everyone from the housekeeping ladies to the maintenance fellow. The most exceptional service, however, was from all of the front desk staff. Any enquiry or issue we had was dealt with immediately in the most friendly and efficient manner. I don’t think we’ve had better service from any hotel staff anywhere at any time. Just one of many examples - they went out of their way to make sure we could have a late checkout due to our late night flight home. Kudos to everyone. ||Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat.
Location, Location, Location! This place is one block from Waikiki! We were in room 76 and had a nice lanai with a good view of the city and the ocean. Serviceable kitchen with dishwasher, but no oven. The beds are AMAZING!!!! Seriously fell in love with the beds. The "2nd bedroom" is only divided from the living room/kitchen area by sliding opaque windows, so we put black plastic bags over the windows to darken up the room. The room's a little worn (spots on ceiling), but overall very clean so not a deal-breaker for us!! Denny's is around the corner and absolutely delicious!!! ABC Stores are nearby, so you can easily grab essentials. We ended up parking at Hale Koa (about a 10 minute walk away) - parking was $180 per month, compared to $39 a day here. Room came with 2 umbrellas and 2 beach chairs. This truly is a great location for a trip, if you want to be in the city and feel safe!!
The staff is kind. Jacques was very friendly and we really appreciated his help. I can highly recommend this place!!
Great location, full kitchen & friendly staff. If you're more into airbnb than hotels, then this is the perfect place for you.||We love having a full kitchen so we can cook whenever we want. We liked the access to the pool facilities at The Reef a block away. We also like the laundry facilities as we do not want to do check in baggage at all!||We got a one-bedroom suite for our family of four. We are not super tall or big people so it suited us well. Next time, we might book a two-bedroom so we have more privacy from our kids.||The staff was fantastic! They always welcomed us with a smile and were super helpful. Our departure flight was cancelled by Westjet eight hours before departure. They helped to extend our stay immediately and gave us an excellent rate. We really appreciated that as we were worried about being "homeless" over Christmas while not knowing when we would be able to return home.||On Friday nights, you can see the Hilton fireworks from your balcony. The higher floors have a full view.||Great Japanese restaurant, Wasabe, across the street. Take out from steak restaurant at Pagoda is a must for breakfast and lunch.||Do be aware of the cleaning and parking fees. Some updating could be done in the suite and the hotel. They were replacing the hallways carpets during our stay so I'm hopeful it's better now.||Next trip back to Honolulu, we're definitely coming back to this Regency location.
do not recommend it, they charge hidden fees for cleaning that they never do and for damages, they do not return the guarantee taken from the credit card. I was only informed of the parking charge, that I recognize that. It's not worth it, it doesn't have amenities, they send you to the pool of another hotel and the attention of the front desk doesn't exist. When I left there was no one to check out and I had to leave the parking sign above the desk. After a few days I receive the surprise of the hidden charges charged on the credit card that I put under warranty. I definitely don't recommend it.

Shoot was - as expected - amazing. Stunning mastery of technique, patter, and showmanship. Hilarious sense of humour, was great at working the crowd and had a lot of warmth and heart incorporated into his performance, and the story he told throughout
