"Just fine." "Sufficient." "Adequate." I will start by saying that there are definitely much worse places. This place is probably quite good for the area at this price point. I've been told there are certain things one should simply expect in this region of Florida. That said, here's my honest review: while the space is perfectly adequate, there is enough hot water in the shower, and there are just enough plates, spoons, and bowls if you have food you've already made. However, there is visible mold on the curtains, and less concerningly and most expectedly, in the shower. To my surprise, the air coming out of the air conditioning vent smells like it's burning dust or something. Why it would do that on a cooling cycle is beyond me. The filter looks like it's got white paint or powder or something sprayed on it. The mattress is dented badly on one side, so it's not level when one tries to sleep, and yet the sheets, blankets, and pillows are of good quality. The pots and pans are, in my opinion, insufficient for the kitchen. With two burners, no oven, and no toaster, don't expect to make much food here. In general, the place is older and more shabby than I expected. It really comes down to what you expect in a place, I guess.There is no smart TV in this room, though apparently, some of them do have those. There is no provided USB outlet anywhere; most who think ahead will have one of their own. To my dismay, walking around barefoot, the bottoms of my feet got black quickly, but it is a first-floor unit with luxury vinyl flooring. I'm sure most people just keep their shoes on. There's light coming in all of the windows, both front and back of the unit, and the windows are not properly covered with blackout curtains. Some might appreciate the natural lighting, while others might be surprised that it's a small, and fairly normal-looking, neighborhood backyard back there. Even though it has a separate bedroom, the rooms aren't really separate because, most likely for airflow purposes, the wall itself has windows cut into it. Some would feel this is better than a single room at a standard hotel.I could probably go on, but the main point is that it is not really comfortable for a multi-night stay. I don't mean to sound overly critical. Obviously, some people give it good reviews. It's just not for me. If it didn't make it so difficult to breathe due to the mildew (and possibly burning dust), the bed was more comfortable, there wasn't so much light coming in the windows, and I felt like I was getting something useful from the mini kitchen, then maybe I would try to stick it out. But I don't think it's worth it. The word that keeps coming to mind is adequate. It is totally adequate, and it's not gross. If I were driving across the country and needed a single night somewhere, I'd be fine with this. But being here for multiple days, I would prefer to spend a little bit more to experience a little more luxury.

We found this hotel after leaving a Days Inn by Wyndham which was a total OSHA violation! The staff at Regency was friendly and kind, and understanding with our situation with the last hotel and how dire it was that we get a room ASAP. We were in town for work and by the time we found Regency my husband had 30 minutes to change, gas up and get to work while we unloaded the SUV. To say it was a race is an understatement but we prevailed! When we got up to the room, the room looked like it was newly upgraded with new flooring, fresh paint and even the beds looked new and they were clean. The internet was iffy on my laptop but the tv worked fine. The AC was ice cold. The mini fridge & microwave were clean. The bathrooms were spotless and clean, compared to the other hotel we left, Regency Inn & suits was a blessing and we slept like royalty. We are absolutely saving this location.

This place has the charm of the old 60's still motels from that era. Everything was perfectly clean and functioned as you would expect. The staff were also polite and accommodating. Make no mistake this is not about luxury but a good clean inexpensive place with a historic feel. ||I would definitely stay here again.

Best old school 50s style art deco hotel with pool almost in the middle. Manager John runs this property really well compared to adjacent overpriced has beens on this classic strip.

Just passing through town with late arrival and early exit, decided to trust reviews. So glad we did. We arrived at 11 pm, the exterior was clean, quiet, and very well lit. The room was also quiet and clean. Spacious too. Very pleased for price.

Don’t expect any frills. The room had bare minimum items you expect in a hotel, but that’s okay because it was a lower price hotel. It was also in a sketchy part of town. All neighboring hotels were abandoned looking. Security was my main concern. I checked the room and 2 of the 3 windows were unlocked. One didn’t have an actual lock, it was broken. Luckily I had tools with me to lock the 3rd window. I felt totally uneasy. Theres is not a second lock on the door just the handle. I ended up heading to Walmart to purchase security items. When we woke up there was a cockroach in my daughter’s bed. That was a done deal! I checked out a day early and only stayed the one night.

Needed a place to stay for one night while in town for work. Place was clean and seemed pretty safe. Rooms had everything I needed for the night as well as 2 water bottles. Parking is included at the hotel. Rooms are right by main strip but it wasn’t that bad as long as there wasn’t a very loud car.

Had to switch rooms the second night. First room tv didn't work and the toilet came off the seal and leaked forbidden water all over the floor. Mold and dust in ever other place. Don't use the ice bucket lid. Second room was a little better but they have the dresser with the TV on it screwed to the wall but someone pulled half out. The sink light was crooked and the showe curtain rod was hanging on by a thread. The biggest thing that was bad about room 2 that i got over because i wasnt moving again it was late is that me and my friend killed over 10 flies in there through the night.Both rooms the water in the shower goes from hot to hell hot with no cooler water.
