My wife and I stayed there for a week in Oct 2013. We knew that it wouldn't be the greatest place in the world because of the price but we didn't expect to bring roaches home with us!!! Today I got a text from my wife with a picture of a bag that came out of her suitcase. There was a roach on it. Now we have spray everything. Suitcases, cars, bed rooms in the hopes of killing everything that may have ridden on our stuff. ||||This sucks. Why is it so hard to find a place that is reasonably priced, simple, and decent. I don't need much, just a room with no roaches. They couldn't even do that. Every room should come with a bottle of spray! The owners have to know that there are roaches. I wouldn't even be half as mad if they just accepted the fact that they have an infestation and at least had some traps lying out. ||||I wasn't going to bring this up but I'm angry now so let's talk about it. When we were getting in the room there was a "breaking bad" moment. A guy was running barefoot chasing an SUV and screaming. That was the first night. Never in my life had I felt compelled to sleep with my gun right next to me on the night stand, but at the Regency, I did. ||||If you can find the money, stay some place better. If you can't bring your gun and some roach spray. ||||Lastly there was hair all over the shower wall from someone before us shaving. :-(
The only reason I can see someone staying here is if they have absolutely unequivocally no other choice. This hotel was a nightmare from the time I was given my key. First off, the manager or owner or whomever was not at the desk during check in. It was myself along with three other people waiting. I don't even remember if there was a bell to ring, but he didn't come out or down until about 20 minutes later. Now this is during homecoming for NCAT and I booked way in advance. I was willing to return a two bed for a single because I really didn't need it. The guy told me he was sold out. Damn liar..... After I was given my key the person behind me asked for a one bed and he gave it to them. SMH!!!||||Anyway, I proceeded to my room, opened the friggin door and here comes a pitbull greeting me like what the hell???? The room was occupied, not cleaned. I quickly shut the door and went back to the office. The guy had the nerve to tell me these people were suppose to check out. I asked him, "Did you check the room let alone have a log of your workers cleaning it???" He apologized and gave me a key to a room right next to it. Now the first day was not so bad. It was when I returned that night and had to take a shower and go to bed that the nightmare really started. Turned on the lights only to find roaches everywhere. The bed cover smelled like they never cleaned it EVER!!!! There was one to complain to because the so called manager was never no where to be found. Needless to say, it was the longest two days ever. I could not get a refund and I could not go anywhere else because everything was booked. Now that I think of it, I probably would have been better off sleeping my niece dorm floor! ||||I hoped to the baby Jesus I came out unscathed from this travesty of an inn/suite. Bottom line.....JUST......DON'T!!!!!
Had people come yelling and beating on our door at 8am owner came and they pulled off in a hurry. Toilets clogged and flooded more than three times in two days. Bugs in the bathroom. TV has 4 channels. The owners are very nice though.
we booked in after a long whole day traveling, they lost our reservation, and then tired to over charge by more then a night ! after arguing, and getting MY rate i come in to clean up from our flight to see a thick black hair on our face towel!! i thought to myself....are you serious?! then my night stand was gross and old things in the draws. i felt like trash, i can not wait to go home! this is not worth anything!
My self and coworker were in town working, we had worked all day. We only had two towels in the room, so if you take a shower at night no clean towel for morning shower. When I went to the front desk to ask for two more towels. the woman ask the room number and I had to show my I D. then she wonted to argue why I needed more towels. said they don't give out extra towels, ask me if I used the same towel over at home. I told her no she keep on insisting I used the same towel at home, Finley I got the towels. I assuming her and her husband owned the place, they both were from India. And the bathtub had been painted the paint was peeling off, floating in the water when taking a shower. Bedding thin and cheep. The place is way out dated, remodel NO. takedown to the ground and start over would be best thing for this place. I have never been treated like this at any hotel, I travel every week staying in hotels everywhere. never seen any one so rude !!! As this woman who thinks we Americas owe her something, she got our money when we stayed there. If you stay there good luck not again.
I had a great experience at this hotel. It is conveniently located, has got some great rooms (at a great price), and has good eating out options nearby. The hotel is run by a nice family and they are very flexible to meet your requirements. Would suggest staying at this place.
Charlie is correct. This is in a bad part of town. Chains link fence with barbed wire around the perimeter. Does not look like a safe place to stay with a family. Owners were nice enough to refund our reservation we made though.
I had a great time at this motel. There are rooms permitted for smoking. When you walk in the King size bedroom, it has a table for 2, tv, mini refridgerator, and microwave. I had a blast. It was $50. I thought it was too good to be true after staying at the Comfort Suites in Oxford, NC. The tv had about 10-20 channels like my48, news, espn, bet, abc, etc. The water worked great. Everything was clean. It looked like they painted recently. The parking lot was roomy to accomodate every room. I heard no sirens. Yesterday was Friday so I was expecting some noise due to a neighborhood behind the motel. Very quiet. It is in a low key area. You need to immediately turn right into the place, from the 16st st exit on Route 29.

Brandon is an awesome coach. I took a workout class with him and learned some new workouts and had a great time. He's a great coach and a great person. Highly recommend!
My favorite coffee shop, itâs the spot for the cozy girlies. My partner brought me here for the first time and since then itâs been the spot. I like their lattes and egg omelette.
