Regency Inn & Suites - Motel in Texarkana - 5308 N State Line Ave, USA

The overnight customer service agent has issues. She is not my boss. Doordash is. She needs more training or needs to find something else to do. End of story.

The Regency Inn, Texarkana, AR, was one of the neatest and cleanest motel that we stayed in on a 3 1/2 vacation trip through eight states. We stayed there last year, and were so pleased with our room that we determined to spent our last day on the road again. We arrived without a reservation, were greeted promptly, and registered in a few short minutes. The luggage cart was in use, but the desk attendant promptly offered to bring our baggage to our room. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. The entire facility has been updated, and is being properly maintained. We highly recommend this motel. By the way, there was a glitch in their online reservations service; the owner told us that there was recurring problems with the system. Great place to stay the night at a great price. They worked with us on our odd check in and check out time. Great service and very nice rooms for the cost. I recommend staying here instead of the bigger chains near by.

1|Sunday July 2, 2023|My wife and I stayed one night on the 1st of July.|We arrived late went to our room (108) and went to bed immediately disregarding the moldy smell.|The next morning the oder was much stronger and the floor was damp in spots and wet in others. |The bottoms of our feet were not only wet but we were tracking small nests of long, black, curly hair everywhere. When went to the shower to rinse the hair from our feet and the water ran muddy rivulets into the drain. |The bottom of the bathroom door is bubbled and blistered from water damage.|Of the chain 14 hotels in Texarkana all were booked due to a livestock event so the Regency was our only refuge for the night.|Hundreds of people in town, hotels booked full yet the Regency had three (3) guests.|Moral: Book ahead

I liked my room especially because the hotel's rooms are entered inside. The location is perfect for a quiet stay. ||||The space was roomy and comfortable. Didn't expect or want any extra amenities, but there are so many outlets for electronic devices and a great fridge and microwave. ||||The nice lady at the front desk was very accommodating and most of all very caring. Appreciate her kindness ||||Only thing I would change would be to have some fresh fruit at breakfast. ||||Will stay there again!!!

Lady at the front was pleasant. That’s really the only thing I liked besides the decent location next to breakfast places. BUT the rooms are kind of small. But for the price I didn’t complain. A lot cheaper if you wanna save. No blow dryer in the room, used shampoo packet, hair in tub. Breakfast was nothing interesting.

Staff is Amazing and fun. Very open to meet new Guest and very welcoming. I lived there and made it my home. Much love and appreciation goes both ways. 2 thumbs up 5 star!

It smelled like a sewer in the hallway. The A/C didn't work very well and there was no breakfast bar as advertised. While I understand that with the covid, they can't offer a buffet, they didn't even offer coffee in the lounge or our room. Definitely would not recommend. I will add that the room was clean, but that's about it.
