Regal Grand Esplanade - Movie theater in Kenner - 1401 W Esplanade Ave, USA

I love Regal Cinema! My unlimited pass is amazing, and I love using it in different locations I visit. Yet I can only offer 1 star for this location because other guests were so disruptive. (Update: January 24, 2024) 1. I created a controlled experiment. I was guessing that I would either see spider man; 💚 green and spider man: or have folks being disruptive with their phones during an afternoon movie. Think of this as a queens gambit or a Sicilian Defense in chess. 2. My 1:30 pm I.S.S. movie experiment was correct. 3. The man and woman seen in the photos appeared to be watching an IP/hidden camera on their phone during the movie and were actively on social media. They were argumentative when asked to stop. He spoke perfect English. 4. The gal sitting next to me? In the spiderman shirt was disruptive during the movie as well. It was as if she wanted me to keep looking at her during the movie. She also continued to "fake sneeze" 3 consecutive times during the movie. Also, I heard a "high pitch sound" come from their direction during the movie 4 times. 5. I have had people "fake sneeze" or "fake cough," especially girls that seem to surround me. 6. They leave in the Bronco 7. Upon exiting the theater, once again, another "spiderman" and a gal with "green laces." At this rate and my powers of probability and statistical prediction; I could rake in a fortune at cards. ...I think not. It's clear that I am being stalked.

I wonder if anyone who has left a good review has actually been here . The cloth seats are falling apart broken and gross. The rail is in front of your view of the screen if you recline your seat and every worker here seems unhappy. The price of the movie wasn't bad but definitely not looking to come back

I went for the last showing of Godzilla minus one. The lobby was packed with people celebrating something. It was loud but it's good to see people enjoying themselves. There wasn't a clear indication that I needed to show my digital ticket to the concession attendant but I eventually figured it out. I believe I was in theater 6 and my seat looked like a bear had ripped it up. The recliner didn't work but I moved to the seat next to me and that solved that. I could overlook all this but there was some sort of stain or scratches on the screen in three locations that popped on certain scenes. This theater needs some TLC.

The seats are dirty, disgusting, the service: just lazy teens who don’t know what they’re doing. Also would like to mention a medium is 7.80(not including tax) WITH NO REFILLS I was told they only refill large which must be 10$ it’s just insane. Would not recommend this theatre

Enjoyed watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The popcorn was good. But I just love movie theater popcorn. The seats were a little worn in my opinion. Overall a pleasant experience.

Great breakfast, nice comfortable bed. No hot tub or sauna. Pool water cold and very dirty. Never had to pay for parking at an inn that I have stayed at. They charged me $12.00 to park overnight. Worst Quinta that I have ever stayed at. Will think about other places to sleep next time.

Could be a bit cleaner, staff if always super nice and helpful. Chairs could use an update but not a bad place

I hadn't been here in over a decade. They have really upgraded this facility. The ticket prices and refreshments were reasonable. The seats are SOO comfortable! I'm never comfortable in theater seats! I'll be going back again soon, for sure! 🫶
