I am truly impressed by the recent renovations made to this charming lodge. Its proximity to Lake Fork makes it an ideal destination for fishing enthusiasts seeking a peaceful getaway. The spacious rooms accommodate multiple guests comfortably, and the main house, serving as the lodge, boasts stunning aesthetics. Having been a returning guest, I've had the pleasure of experiencing various themed rooms, each meticulously curated with attention to detail. The vintage appliances add a nostalgic touch, while the outdoor seating area provides a perfect setting to unwind and savor the evening. The picturesque sunsets, coupled with the captivating mural, offer fantastic photo opportunities. I look forward to returning again and again, as I have developed a fondness for both the lodge and its hospitable owners.
Had a great return visit 25 years later.. Room was clean freshly decorated … remodeled.. and loved the AC unit !! Close to the water as well… Thanks I’ll come back! Randy
My husband and I spent two nights at The Lodge while visiting relatives. The listing is spot on; a great location, beautifully furnished and decorated, clean, and a comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, glassware, cooking accessories and a dining table. The private first floor deck behind the lodge has a BBQ grill and is a great spot to cook out or relax. Great location, close to Mineola and Sulphur Springs; both of which have cute shops and restaurants. The host is very responsive. Highly recommend, look forward to staying again in the future.
The owner was super helpful, answering all our questions. We drove from NC to Lake Fork to purchase a boat and after some trouble on the road we arrived just past midnight, she gave us the combination to a room and saved all the other stuff for the next morning, outstanding given how tired we were. The rooms were great, cozy, cool even though it was 104 outside, and the beds were the best I have ever slept on in any hotel, way better than any chain and on par with a five star luxary resort. I can see why they are always booked up come fishing season because they are less than a mile from the boat ramp. Would 200% recommend anyone stay here.
Cute place. The room was very clean and beds were good and the water hot. Stayed in Catfish cabin. Bring ear plugs for sleeping , road noise is constant.
This Inn is fabulous! The rooms are cute and cozy, and the owner, Deborah, is so kind and welcoming! Can't wait to come back!!
We got a room because our water at home was frozen and this was close. When David went to take his shower,he ran out of hot water in less than 1 min. I called the office and was told they had cut back on the hot water to save money. I waited for awhile to go take my shower and the same thing happened. In less than a minute it was cold water only. The shower was nasty and hadn't been cleaned in a while. The next morning we made coffee and it was luke warm at best. All of this along with toenail clippings in the bathroom is why I would definitely not recommend this place.
Such a cute comfy vibe in the room decor. Owner is personable, welcoming, and accommodating. Enjoyable experience.
