Redwood Steak House - Steak house in Anita - 1807 White Pole Rd, USA

Went to have steak last night. Everything was great until our steaks came out. Two people in our group had to get new steaks due to them being well done instead of medium-rare. The second steak came back and was extremely rare. Steaks were tough. It was disappointing. We used to love coming for the relish tray and atmosphere but with how the main meals were, we won’t be returning.

So much yummy food! Our server was attentive but not over bearing. We love The Redwood. We were celebrating our anniversary that evening. It has become our tradition since we moved to the area several years ago.

Onion rings (small order perfect for 2 people) were phenomenal (hand cut/breaded). Service was excellent. Old school supper club atmosphere and feel. Very clean and well managed. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality of food they serve. Lots of nice little touches. I was a little disappointed in the signature ribeye that they feature on their menu. I'll admit, I'm somewhat of a "Ribeye snob", so my standards are high. Everything else was great, and I was impressed with how broad their menu was. My wife loved the fish she ordered which was a very generous portion. It was my first time here, and I'll definitely be back, just probably won't order the ribeye.

Our waitress was great but the food was by far the worst food ever. And the other waitresses kept judging us. Steak was small and $30 bacon cheeseburger was half the size of the bun hot turkey and cheese was a thick slice of turkey breast with lettuce.

This restaurant is phenomenal! We loved everything about it! The relish tray was wonderful, brought back so many memories when places use to serve them! The fish my friend had was excellent as was my pork chop. Onions are the best ever!! The bread was warm and yummy. It was my friend’s birthday and they played happy birthday and brought him a dessert with a candle ! It was so special! Amy was our waitress and we loved her ! Excellent service! Will definitely be back!!!

Cute place! Waitress was very nice but it seemed like she was the only one, so diners need to be patient. Food was good - the relish tray was so cute and fun! It has a lot of different little things on it, and we had fun sampling all of them. The onion rings were also really good, as was the meal itself. Ham was very good quality and hubby said the chicken livers were really good. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a special meal.

This place is awesome! It's like a supper club that you'd find in Wisconsin. They've got an impressive amount of seafood on the menu and they bring out a relish tray containing everything from meat and cheese to pickled herring to olives and radishes. Biggest favor you can do for yourself is order one of the supper club cocktails/ice cream cocktails. We tried three different ones (really could have stuck with one, maybe two, for all 3 people) - the Grasshopper, the Swiss Virgin, and the Brandy Alexander. Absolutely fantastic. Barb was covering the drinks, tables and serving food and doing it all with a smile on her face. Great experience!

I ordered New York Strip medium well and it came rare to medium rare. They didn't charge us the for our appetizer to make it right. My advice is order more well done than you normally would.
