Redwood Park - Park in Arcata - 490 E. Park Road, USA

Super beautiful park, literally a 5-10 minute walk from Cal-Poly Humboldt. Whoever maintains these trails is doing great, however it is a little stinky right now. Not sure why. Anyway, I love taking my dog here, there's also a super cute skate park/pump track which is kid friendly.

Redwood Park has a new pump track! The playground is still under construction. The pump track is spacious and has a good view of the redwoods! Great for BMX and skateboarding.

I enjoy coming here when I'm in The area just to experience a different part of the redwoods and I don't get disappointed at all every time and I would recommend coming here if you want to see tall trees all throughout your hike but there's so much more beauty out here as well but don't take my word for it come visit and check it out yourself

Such a cool park to the east of Arcata. If you didn't know, you'd think you were in the middle of the redwoods national park. Pretty cool to see this beautiful park as part of the city. There are small parking areas around, a lodge and an open space to run around. This was a great introduction to the redwoods before I was able to visit the national park.

Beautiful park! Well maintained and they are always making eco-friendly improvements to the area. They recently installed a new pump track that is a huge hit with the local kids. Their new and improved playground looks super fun, even though I’m only a kid at heart! People come to this park to jog, do yoga, meditate, explore nature, and walk among the picturesque, ancient Redwood trees.

This park is awesome but the disc golf course rules the west coast!!

The Redwood Park is in the heart of Arcata, CA. If you hike the Arcata Community Forest you will reach this Park. Parking is free and easy to find. At this moment the park is passing through a renovation, so the restrooms were closed. They do provide a chemical one. This park is surrounded by pines and redwoods, very scenic. There are picnic tables, children playground and a beautiful grass area. Very good environment if you have dogs and kids. I highly recommend it.
