Redwood Motel - Motel in Chandler - 470 N Arizona Ave, USA

There was a dirty towel on the floor right when we walked in. The AC didn't work, it was sooo hot. TV was totally off sync. The lady was so rude and liked to yell instead of speak normally. Never again. Most horrible ever. Ruined my entire stay cation. Lots of homeless walking around.

Filthy, black mold under sink and in bathroom, roaches crawling everywhere. The owner is a mean evil spirited person. Why be in the hospitality industry if you are hospitable yourself.

I went to Arizona for a family funeral during a time of year when the hotel prices were nuts. Even the cheap hotels were running half my house rent back home. The manager saw me calling around and talking with my family on the phone and realized I was there for a funeral. He gave me a reasonable rate. The most impressive part though cuz I stayed there for three days the manager check to see how things were going how the funeral was if I needed anything. At one point he even invited me to sit and socialize and have a beer with his friends. He checked to make sure that the room was my liking and he checked to see if the vacation goers in the room next door we're being too loud for me. The motel was nice but the service was exceptional. They gave me directions and vice where to eat and showed a lot of kindness. I would recommend and plan to stay there whenever I visit the area. The treatment made all the difference

My fiancé and I checked in late at night and they were very accommodating. I give it 3 stars because the bed is soft and comfy, the service was good, and the shower was hot. However when we checked into our room we saw a cockroach on the wall, and at first that was fine, but more started coming out. So if bugs don’t bother you and you just need a place for the night that’s affordable, it’s good place to stay

Dirty rooms, overpriced, TV barley works, management got mad when I asked to fix the t.v. for $120 a night. Unless you NEED a spot tonight otherwise I'd avoid this place. There is also an old guy that lives in one of the rooms and leaves his door open all day smokes, drinks, and yells all day and night. If you get a room next to his and you try to take a shower he bangs on the wall and yells shut up! Try to avoid this place at all costs

I'm assuming Nick is the manager I am very pleased with the hospitality and the room was huge and extremely comfortable, clean. I really appreciate the help. I recently move to Arizona from Minnesota with nothing and living out of my car isn't the easiest thing for me I never been in a situation like this but this hotel definitely made me feel like home. Thank you very much. Definitely recommend this hotel if anyone is Searching for a pleasant stay.

Honestly, the pricing for me was perfect for the situation that I was in. I needed a cheap stay for the night and this was the best one at a reasonable price. The receptionist was very welcoming and had a positive attitude towards me. She was also very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. You get a heater/cooler, a queen bed, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower head, sink, toilet, and a closet. All the things needed to get you through the night. Some complained about having limited channels on the t.v., but I was happy enough when I had Discovery Channel playing. I had a good laugh when I seen the blocky television in my room, but hey it was nice reminiscing what I used to have as a kid so it wasn't a big deal. Overall stay, Comfy to my standards.

It's OK. The owners are pleasant East Indians, rooms are clean, premises are kept tidy, and they have a laundry room. Expect only the basics here, one rip-open package of shampoo, one bar of soap, two cups but two towels, one hand towel and washcloth. Everything in the room is outdated tile and home appliances such as home door knobs on the front door, inexpensive home shower knobs, and very basic appliances such as a microwave and refrigerator. Although it has a dead bolt lock, no electronic locks exist. So, keep your valuables in your car if you're not at the hotel room. Laundry room is right next to room 101 which might be noisy for you. Bottom line, very small, cramped property, good for a quick one-night stay but expect no frills and very basic service and construction. I paid $65/night which I felt was a bit pricey for this low level of amenities and service. You may feel otherwise. :)
