My move in experience has been really lackluster here, which is disappointing because I do like my unit. Initially, Redwood was not willing to be flexible with my move-in date by ONE DAY without wanting to charge me for $50+ more in rent. Then, the day before my move-in, the office called me to reschedule it to be virtual, and on move-in day I didn't hear from anyone until I reached out. Once I paid my fees and got to my unit, there were only keys inside- no move-in information or other welcome gift. The apartment itself is nice, but I definitely don't feel welcomed or attended to for the $$$ I'm spending.
Pluses: Nice apartments, with 2 car garage. New(er) appliances, counter tops and floorings. Quiet neighborhoods. Several floor plans to choose from. Similar experience to living in a housing community
Minuses: in my opinion… over priced. There are no work out facilities, no pools, no club house. For the price, one would think these amenities would be included.
My outside lights NEVER worked, unless I got home at 4:30 and didn’t need them anyway.
Overall, a nice apartment complex, but be prepared to pay. If you want indoor parking, and don’t care about a gym or a pool, you’ll probably like these apartments over “regular” apartment neighborhoods.
The first thing I would like to make note of the fact that majority of the 5 star and good reviews for this community were submitted over a year ago. Please take that into consideration when reading those reviews. In which point in time I would 100% agree. Since management has changed twice now in my time as a resident here, things have significantly gone down- hill. The only reason I'm allowing 1 star is because the inside of the homes are nice, everything else in unimaginably terrible. The day we moved in our sliding glass door was completely shattered and didn’t get fixed for 6 weeks. Let's start with the office. The customer service they provide is honestly sad. Not only do I have prior experience in the leasing industry, I also have common sense when it comes to customer service. There are, on several occasions, I have tried to contact the leasing office, Angel Woods the property manager more specifically, to not so much as get a simple response back that they are working on it, or looking into it, or I'm so sorry to hear that let's make things right. Nope, you will just continually be ignored. To the point where you need to find corporates email and contact them. Second, the lawn care on the new side is terrible. We would go weeks on end without getting mowed with no explanation as to why (again because the office doesn't respond). If you have a pet, good luck, when you're not walking through weeds up to your shins, it's nothing but dirt and rock. Also, there is a resident that lets their dog outside without a leash and everytime I turn the corner with my dog, theirs gets up and starts coming towards me. Third, whenever there is an incident involving another resident, don’t expect the office to do anything even when you have proof on your doorbell camera that you showed to them. They just brushed it off and told me "they filed an incident". We also had an issue with plumbing where the toilets start bubbling water and everything gets shut off until a company can come out and fix it. They have designated areas for guest parking, however it’s just residents parking their cars there because it’s the same ones there every day. Again, we were told there is nothing they will do about that. When it's all said in done, if you are okay with paying upwards of $2,000+ for a place to live and only receiving the bare minimum, I would HIGHLY suggest looking for a new place to live because I can assure you, you'll be strongly disappointed moving into Redwood of Brownsburg.
The process was extremely easy, the staff is very friendly/ down to earth yet professional. My apartment was in very good shape, neighborhood is quiet/clean. Im very impressed.Alysea and Randle are awesome. I would highly recommend this community!
I was to post a review on a maintence request, but it disappeared. They did an inspection of apartments this last week. They smelled gas in my furnace closet, and said we had a leak which I have smelled well over a year here and have had two maintence men in the closet before that never said anything. The two men that came to fix it the next day because no one came out that afternoon to fix and we were without heat for the night were from roto rooter and a Redwood man Justin who doesn't work in this community. They were great. They apologized for no one fixing the problem the day before. I would of liked to of given the guys higher stars.
It's a beautiful place to live and quiet. However, we have had several issues since moving in 5 months ago. First, we moved it and didn't receive a mailbox key for 30 days. We had to request one. Second, our microwave fell apart while warm up our food. We received another in 3 weeks. Third, our bank has fraud protection so when we paid the rent the bank didn't pay it but choose to pay other bills. When I explained this to the office, we lost our privilege to pay rent online. We now have to go and pay our rent at the local kroger and to process our payment we have pay a $30 fee. We was told that this would be straightened out but never did. Fourth, we have had alot of issues with our plumbing, like toilets not flushing properly and dishwasher breaking and flood our kitchen. Lastly, we have complained about our neighbors letting their dog out without a lease. These a 2 big dogs and we received a called about cleaning up our dogs poop. The neighbors still let their dogs out without a lease. These are alot of issues for paying $1800 per month for rent. Not even one month later and now our stove has fallen apart!!
The apartments have all the finishes and essentials I was looking for, they are very well maintained and the move-in process was wonderful. Randle at Redwood Brownsburg was such a pleasure to work with!
Emergency service repairman came very quickly to assess the problem and fixed it! Redwood has a terrific service team!

This park is awesome for kiddos! My son loved the barn playground, and all the different opportunities for climbing, jumping, and spinning. Definitely recommend for anyone nearby with small children.
I bike (casuallly) this trail a lot in the spring/summer/fall months. It's well paved with blacktop, has posted mile markers, and dedicated cross walks at busy roads. Lots of trees, birds, squirrels and chipmunks.
If you are looking for a great coffee shop that can truly offer coffee options, great food, and remarkable service, look no further. This wonder shop far exceeds expectations, and the reviews are on point! I went ahead and ordered the Brownie Batter
This is such a beautiful park with so much to do alone or with friends and family. The walking path has multiple elevations and very scenic. You will see a bridge, water, and wooded areas. There are plenty of picnic areas and gorgeous flowers.
It was our first time here, and we were delighted to find this amazing restaurant by accident. The server was friendly, and he showed us how to mix the sauces. He gave us free dumplings as appetizers. The peanut sauce is delicious. The pho is excelle
