What a great experience with Shannon behind the bar! The food is amazing, but the service might be even better! The ribs were amazing (and I'm from Texas)! They even give you a warm moist towel to clean your hands. Look at my pictures and try what we ordered. The shrimp were super good.
Dinner on a Saturday night, breast cancer awareness! Made reservations for 3 on open table and had no wait when we arrived. It's located at the mall next to Lord & Taylor's. There was plenty of parking available. Redstone was decked out for breast cancer awareness month. They offered "pink" drinks that when purchased $1 goes to the pay it forward fund. We had the rose and rose sangria which were both good. Our server, Peyton, was very pleasant and helped with recommendations when we were undecided between entrees. We shared cornbread skillet with maple butter. It was large enough that we took a third of it home, but it was soooo good! Entrees were braised short rib, bbq meatloaf, and chilean sea bass. The sea bass was amazing. It had a nice crust on top but was tender on inside. We finished off with key lime pie which was large enough for the 3 of us to share. Filling was smooth and tart. It was a great experience. There was no rush for us to leave and high backs between booths allowed for pleasant conversation. Price is definitely worth the value and quality. I highly recommend it for any occasion!
I decided on a whim to try this place for dinner. Ordered the grilled ranch wings and a cajan ribeye, which were both very flavorful.
Both the bartender and waitress were on point! Definitely will return.
Came here with my whole family (3 kids) to have lunch. The food was delicious. We had short ribs and french onion soup, both of them were perfectly cooked. My son had a hamburger and it was also very tasty. The other two kids had 2 meals from the kids menu. The mac&cheese was not a big success.
The desserts were huge! And also very tasty. Unfortunately couldn't finish them because we were too full.
The waiter was very nice and kind and every time we finished a portion, someone came very quickly to take the empty dishes. So the service was very good as well.
If you are in the area, I do recommend to visit this place and have a nice meal.
I’ve been here a couple of times to meet up with my girlfriends, have a quick bite and a cocktail. It’s a nice place with a large bar area. I always sit at the bar. It’s roomy and it’s nice to interact with the bartender and my friends. The decor is warm and modern, with wood all around. If you don’t want to sit at the bar, they have booths too. Outside there’s seating and wood burning tables which adds to their ambiance.
I started with a cocktail. I chose their SEASONAL DOLI- Fresh Pineapple Aged with a combination of juices. It was wonderful. Redstone Grill ages fresh pineapple in New Amsterdam Vodka for 12-14 days.
The first time I was here I had their SMOKEHOUSE STEAK COBB SALAD- Applewood Smoked Bacon, Corn, Grilled Asparagus, Red Onion, Tomato, Gouda, Smoked Onion Ranch dressing. It was delicious and filling.
On my return I chose for my entree, GENERAL TSO’S TURKEY BURGER-Sweet & Spicy General Tso Sauce, Broccoli Slaw, Grilled Red Onion. For my side I chose Garlic Mashed Potatoes. You could also choose from one of these other sides, French Fries, Mac n Cheese,Coleslaw, or Baked Beans.
This turkey burger had great flavors. The broccoli slaw, and grilled onions added multiple layers of flavors along with the sweet & spicy sauce which makes up the name General Tso’s .
One of my friends chose their REDSTONE BURGER-A Beef Patty, Cheddar Cheese, Barbecue Sauce, Applewood Smoked Bacon. She chose Fries Fries for her side.
Another friend chose their TURKEY CHEESEBURGER- Turkey burger with melted cheese, lettuce and tomato.
Last but not least my other friend chose their TUNA STACK-Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Mango, Cucumber, Spicy Thai Sauce,Green Onion, Black & White Sesame Seeds, Sriracha Aioli, Fried Wonton Chips.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. Just be aware this place is a bit pricey.
I would definitely return.
Update 5/23:
Had the opportunity to dine here again . We had BBQ meatloaf, BBQ chicken, and bacon burger. All very good. Veggies with the meatloaf were a bit spicy. Center of chicken a little dry but overall tasty. Had warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, delicious.
Prior review, one year ago:
My wife had salmon which was delicious, I had halibut which was a little dry but veggies and sauce was very good. Key lime pie was giant piece, enough for two. Would go again.
I've been wanting to try this place for a few weeks. I finally went tonight. I wasn't disappointed. Food and service was great. Slightly expensive, but everything came out perfect and exactly as expected. I highly recommend getting dessert. Their chocolate cake is fantastic. It's huge, so definitely be ready to share. A fine place for family, friends or a date.
This place was great. I came here multiple times with my family and friends and they all loved it. The food choices are great and so are the drinks. It's a bit pricey since it's attached to the mall but it's a great choice for special occasions.
