It was our good fortune to be invited by an Elks Lodge member to be guests at “Steak Night”. A truly sumptuous feast was served. Those folks tending the charcoal broilers possess talent that rivals that of most master chefs. Our medium rare requests were skilfully matched by the cook team. The finishing staff added perfectly baked potatoes and green beans. The tenderness and flavor of the beef knocked-my-socks-off.
I was at the memorial service for Phil Carper, and everything was exceptionally well managed, there was quite a large group of family and friends, and the memorial program was an amazing tribute to a one of the "better people" that I have had the privilege of calling a friend.
Stopped in for one of their Tuesday night dinners. Was pastrami or turkey sandwiches with French fries and carrot cake. The pastrami was great and the French fries were the perfect level of crispness. Now the carrot cake was a handmade piece of art. The gentleman cooking and serving were great. Shout out to Ed and Jeff!
I went there for one of their weekly dinners. Michelle and Dave invited me to join them. The chicken with Tuscany sauce hot the spot. Also found out one of my former co-workers attend there. Small world.
What a great organization, great people helping kids and Veterans! The venue is great for outside parties, affordable with lots of room! We stayed in our RV, played darts and shuffleboard and had delicious cocktails! I'm a member now, couldn't resist! Lots of new friends!
We were excited to go to an Empire Wrestling Federation show here. It was easy to find, right off the freeway. There is plenty of parking. It is a wonderful venue, both inside and outside. The nicest people working. Clean, full bar, hot dogs and every age is welcome.
We were traveling through looking for a safe place to spend the night. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our visit. We will definitely go back again!
