Redd's Smokehouse BBQ - Barbecue restaurant in Carlisle - 109 N Hanover St, USA

The food was so good. I forgot to take a picture before we ate it all! Plates were huge but we really want to desert so we put about half of it in a to-go box so that we could get the peach cobbler and lava cake. Both were amazing and also a good size portion that would be easy to share.

This place had the biggest servings of meat I’ve ever had a BBQ place. The sides were fantastic. The staff was super friendly. The brisket was slightly over cooked, which is the only reason I didn’t give this place for stars.

First time here with my boyfriend and his parents. My boyfriend is a huge smoke bbq person. Our waitress told us about their new platter meal for 4, which came out to be the perfect amount for us! It has a pound of variety of smoked meats that included pulled pork, chicken - wings/breast/and leg, ribs, and cornbread, with 4 choices of sides; which we got Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and baked beans (I believe). We each had our own mini pan to eat from the big pan. Very well worth the price, the ribs and pulled pork has to be my favorite!

We were looking for something quick and satisfying. This “stick to your ribs” food was just that. These were just appetizers - Redd’s potato skins and bacon on a stick. We didn’t have room for anything else. We ordered a brisket dinner to go for later. For a quick meal, stop in.

Undoubtedly 5 start, no second thoughts. Man o man! Wat a taste they had for the meats, totally mind blow. To be honest, I didn't had to put on the sauce, thr meat it self was so amazing 😋. YUM! Must visit place. They didn't had veer or any alcohol, at least for the lunch. The fries were awesome, sampler(brisket, pulled pork and ribs) u will b blown away, bacon on the stick was wonderful and thr wings were good as well.

Good BBQ at a reasonable price. I definitely will have to come back to try the platter. Next time for them beer lovers go next door and buy yourself a 6 pack of beers to enjoy a beer with your meal. It is a BYOB location so they don't serve alcohol but you're definitely allowed to bring your favorite brew. I was told not to try the spot since 2 other guests from a certain hotel did not like I still had to try it for myself.

Decent bbq at a good price. The bacon on a stick were my favorite. Ribs and brisket were very tender but could use a bit more smoke. The meatloaf was not good, it had a very weird dry crumbly texture. Establishment does not sell alcohol but they do allow you to bring your own which is nice unfortunately we did not know that ahead of time.

The half turkey we ordered for Thanksgiving was perfect! It came with plenty of stuffing and gravy and both were delicious. With the main part of the meal covered, making the rest of the sides at home was easy. Please continue to offer this on your menu for the holidays.
