Was slightly worried about coming here after reading reviews of hour long wait times. However we went Saturday morning for breakfast and it was amazing! Our kids got their pancakes served to them by the owner pretty much instantly and everything came out fast after that! It all tasted fantastic and the staff was friendly and very sweet!!
It is true waiting time is very long but food was excellent. We had corned beef hash, huge pancakes, french toast and country fried steak shared between 2 adults and two kids. If you’re in hurry, you might consider another local place but if you are on vacation, get coffee or lemonade as you’ll have refill while waiting for your order.
I write one review every two years about and only when an experience is the worst I’ve had in two years. We waited an hour for food since there was only one cook on a Sunday after church. When our food arrived we found an honest to god hair in one of the meals. The hash browns were a soggy mess. Will not be returning. Edit: was greeted to a pleasant 3% card fee when I was rang up. Awesome.
This was our first time visiting and we can't wait to come back! Not only was the staff amazing, but the patrons were also very kind. I could tell there were lots of regulars that visit and I certainly see why it's their favorite place. Food was phenomenal! Hometown diner without the extra grease that you would expect. The local syrup was an awesome touch and super delicious. The French toast was some of the best I've had around the area. Even our young kids appreciated the atmosphere and devoured their food. Bonus: clean, fresh bathrooms!
Wry pleased! Greeted and seated promptly, nice and clean. Happy to see that The full menu is available at all times. We all opted for breakfast. The skillets are delicious with ample portions. French toast very flavorful, eggs Benedict was sublime with the eggs cooked perfectly and a generous portion of lemony hollandaise. Prices are very reasonable, and we experienced excellent service from our very attentive server. Nice location right downtown. Will be back!
We were greeted warmly. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was hot, delicious, and quick. This was our first visit and we recommend it!
The staff were extremely nice. The gentleman cooking in back brought pancakes out for the kids (mouse shaped) and it really made the kids happy (especially after the long drive in the car. Our server was very attentive… and we love a good apple pie and ice cream!
The food was phenomenal, the prices were awesome, and every member of the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food came out very quickly and everything was perfect!
Came here for a late night snack after a wedding at the St. James and it was amaaaaazing! 10/10 recommend. Owned by a very sweet couple that was so welcoming. The guy told us he smokes all of the meats in house too. Next time you're in Red Wing, you
Living in a rural area, it's a rare treat to find a sushi spot like River Sushi. This little gem stands out as the only sushi place in town, and it's quite good for its location. Their maki rolls are enjoyable, reminding me a bit of buffet rolls you'
Excellent service received here today from server Samantha. Our order was out in less than 5 minutes and all was great! I tried the Crispy Chicken Melt sandwich and it was tasty and very good. Although it did get busier the longer we were there, Sama
The Upper Quarry, the first stop on the trail leading up to Memorial Park, is a beautiful and interesting place. The geologist in the family will find plenty of sandstone to examine and study, the hiker will love the trails, and the bird watcher will

A really nice place. Nice little coffee shop. Quaint. Carpeting gives a nice warm feeling in November. Fun book exchange for the locals. This would be a great place to work remotely.
When we arrived at about 3pm, we had the place to ourselves. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was really cool. We had drinks and nachos. Prices were good! They had my favorite MN THC beverages.
I had a very enjoyable experience. Very nice, clean, beautiful park and bandshell. There's free music Wed nights. Excellent acoustics. Would love to go back again.
