Nicole and Jeff Coutts were terrific hosts. Nicole was very accommodating, She showed me a couple of rooms she had available so I could select the one that worked best for my mom and me. She had restaurant suggestions for dinner and even offered to make us a quick bite when we were too tired to go out. She was very easygoing and we enjoyed talking to her about the house, travel and life in general! Jeff was friendly too and helped with suggestions for a scenic drive to our next destination. The dining room was well stocked with plenty of snacks, had an extensive selection of teas and was the perfect setting for a warm breakfast to start the day.

An amazing place in time. Nicole and Jeff are amazing hosts. Their hospitality is effortless and without arrogance or pretense. They are proud of what they have built and would like nothing more than to share it with others. They simply love to share their space. Their home and grounds are inspriring. My partner and I have stayed there 2 times with them and we are planning on many more. Upon hearing my partner is an aspiring vegan, Nicole made an absolutely memory-worthy breakfast for us (around 930am because we wanted to lie-in). Strawberry/herb compote, fresh egg-less sourdough bread baked early that morning, scratch made hummus, smoothies, etc. I can't recommend highly enough!. 11/10. I've also seen her animal protein game, which is sharp! The hot tub was perfectly cared for and pristine within the gazebo. The wine flowed freely and shared by all! Every room is emaculate and every amenity accounted for. A unique experience that no one should deprive themselves of. This place is the kind of world that everyone should look forward to every year. I can't wait for our next visit. Thank you Nicole and Jeff!! As someone who has frequented many a door step, this one is by far a must.

We went to Florence, CO for a fundraiser event and has rooms reserved at the Red Rosebud B&B. I must say that our experience here was absolutely amazing. Jeff and Nicole are exceptional. The house is amazing, the rooms are really nice, the yard is the perfect place for coffee and there is a hot tub. Nicole cooked a homemade breakfast for 8 of us and we ate together as family. Even if you have no reason to go Florence, make a point to go and stay here.

My wife and I stayed in June due to its proximity to Royal Gorge. A wonderful and charming B and B. The home and rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques. Hosts Jeff and Nicole provided over the top hospitality.

Our first experience at a B & B and let me tell you this was the most welcoming and comfortable experience we've had! The Ruby Room and bathroom were very inviting, clean, comfortable, and the antiques were exquisite! There is an acre of grounds with delightful seating and lighting all about. We were given a tour and history of the tiny rustic cabin and huge garage. Breakfast was so yummy! I want to go back! Thank you, Coutts for a memorable stay! The Bobians

This place was great. It was charming, clean and relaxed. Special thanks to the B&B hosts, they were very warm and welcoming and accommodated our every wish. Our group rented the entire B&B and we felt we had the run of the place. And we found the B&B was minutes away from the wedding we were attending. So the location was perfect. We felt at home. It felt like visiting a great aunt's house with the well preserved antiques. And the breakfast was an unexpected treat. It was a full country breakfast. We enjoyed fresh fruits, hot biscuits with local jams, waffles, homemade sourdough bread, breakfast meats, yogurt, and of course coffee, teas, juices, etc. The large dining table was set and ready for the group to enjoy as a family each morning. A wonderful way to start the day. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here 2 years ago when we were new to Colorado and it was called The Florence Rose. The new owners Nicole and Jeff have done quite a bit of updating since taking it over. It was as delightful as before....and then some! Their hard work and enthusiasm for their new venture is so evident as is their desire to have their guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. ||The Victorian home has so much charm and the breakfast was amazing....a smorgasbord of deliciousness! Upon leaving Nicole thanked us for staying with them and presented us with a lovely (chocolate) red rose....such a nice surprise and just added to the overall charm. ||This will continue to be our go-to place to stay when visiting the Florence/Canon City area.

$195+ a night is a bit expensive... The interior is unique but honestly it really needs a update! It would be great when guests can order 1 or 2 menus after a long day...
