We have never left a hotel 10 minutes after checking in. Now we did. Smoke free room? The room is full of cigarette smell. Receptionist smiling when we complain. Mould on the ceiling. Cleanliness nowhere. Dont come here ever! Not sure how this place keeps up business

Stay far far away sleep at the airport if you have to. The first room was placed on the 3rd floor. The bed was dirty which appeared to be sugar trapped underneath the mattress, and the cigarette smell was so strong that there was no way I can sleep in there. I should have taken pics of the first room but I left relatively quickly. Oh and the elevator did not work. Mind you I have luggage and I was told by occupants in the hallway to tell me the elevator don’t work. The van driver kindly lug my luggage to the last floor. So I requested change of room and to be placed on the first floor. Room was better I planned to take a shower and as you see in the picture the towel is dirty with red / pink spots. It’s looks worse in person. The bathroom was not clean. I request an iron to iron my work clothes and I was asked to provide my license as collateral. Yes that’s right collateral. I would have respected if he lied and said he had no irons available. Stay clear of this hotel. If anything the pics alone without me writing a dissertation should be enough proof that this is not a habitable hotel.

An absolute disaster. Desperate with the IT glitch we needed a room for the night, late, and on short notice. The shuttle driver was excellent, but everything went downhill as soon as we arrived. A strong foul smell permeated the air, and I got a sinking feeling that because of the late hour our options were very limited. The room was disgusting. Damage, filth, and general lack of maintenance everywhere. We had a knock at the door just after midnight to have an armed security, or police officer wearing a gun asking if everything was alright. Not sure why he came to our room?? The door security bar was broken off. I could see why this place still had availibility when everything else was full. If you had any choice at all, you wouldn't choose this hotel.

Do NOT stay here!! We were stranded due to flight cancellation and this was the only place we could find a room. The website/pics looked ok so we booked. When we arrived we noticed right away it was very seedy with prostitute looking girls and drug dealer looking guys all around. It smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and marijuana. We initially checked in but within 10 minutes there was screaming in the hallway by other patrons and we seriously feared for our lives expecting to hear gun shots. They have an armed night security guard who tried to reassure us and kicked out the two people creating the chaos but we ultimately left to go back and sleep on the floor at the Atlanta airport. We wouldn’t have slept a wink in this place. I would have given it zero stars if that was an option. We told them we felt unsafe and they assured us they would not charge us for our 10 minute visit in the room. I will file a report against them if they do!!

I absolutely love the Red Roof inn plus suites. During my stay Mike hooked me up with a king and queen suite, and the best part about this room is that it has a bedroom doors separating the two room allowing the adults to have privacy when staying with the children. The rooms are so spacious it look like a studio apartment. The beds are super comfy I’m talking hard to get out of them comfy. They have cable with unlimited channels for your entertainment. They have onsite security for your safety. Staying here grants you a peace of mind. The house keeping staff is amazing. The cleaning is superior and they keep the rooms fully stocked with everything you need. The front desk clerk Mike is awesome he’s kind, friendly, and has a heart of gold. Book your stay you’ll love it here.

Safety Concerns - Avoid at All Costs! Don’t believe the ratings on the booking websites. I had a layover in Atlanta and my connecting flight was unexpectedly canceled, so I needed to find a nearby hotel quickly. I relied on the reviews on Agoda, but I feel deceived. The hotel was nothing like the positive reviews suggested. I will never trust Agoda reviews again. This area is unsafe, with individuals who appear homeless ish entering and lingering in the hotel. I was approached by someone asking to use my room if I was checking out, and despite refusing, they somehow had a key and intruded into my room!! Management is aware of these intrusions but does nothing to prevent them. The room reeked of smoke or possibly marijuana, and armed security even patrolled the premises. Pet cages and litter boxes are left in the hallways, creating a foul odor. Undoubtedly, the worst hotel experience of my life.

FYI this is NOT college park, the area is called “old nat” and is well known by the locals as a bad part of town, While we had no problems with the “patrons” there is definitely a prostitution ring running out of here as well as the other hotels in this area, while other Expedia reviews have responses from the owners stating “we will look into this serious matter” it’s clear the owners and staff get a cut from allowing this prostitution ring to operate, staff allow what we assumed to be the “pimps” (since we witnessed ladies of the night handing off money to them many times) to sleep in the lobby overnight. A colorful cast of characters indeed. The room next to us clearly was some sort of central hub and they smoked in the room as well. Bed was at least clean. Airport shuttle i suppose was a bonus. My husband and i are pretty accepting of all walks of life and the regulars were nice to us without issue. But that said, anyone else should probably avoid staying here or in this area at all. Like i said, everyone was pleasant with us but if my husband were not 6’6 or in most other situations i wouldn’t feel safe here in any way.

Booked in order to stay & park while we flew from ATL. taking advantage of the free shuttle service. Arriving we noticed a lot of trash on the drive thru at the front door. Our radar started to go up! Went to our assigned room. Key card didn't work and also discovered the room was already occupied. Desk clerk had no comment but we noticed he had to make a phone call to sort it out. Gave us what was an upgraded room. Would have hated to see the original "normal" first assigned room. BTW, the elevator wasn't functioning so we had to schlep heavy luggage up the stairs at the end of the building. The room ceiling finish and even sheetrock paper was hanging down in several places. Bathroom ceiling paint was peeling. Bedroom wall had red paint splashed on it & there were numerous places where the red stain was fingerprinted on the walls and door frames. The bedspread had cigarette burn holes. (keep in mind, this was supposedly a strict no-smoking property. Towels were thread bare, thin and stained. Furniture should have been tossed long ago. We were awakened at 1 AM by loud shouting and arguing outside under the entry drive thru below our 2nd floor room. That lasted almost an hour. Was so happy to get on the airport shuttle at 6 am and leave this dump! Felt like the only redeeming thing was the "free" parking and shuttle. Although with the shoddiness of this property, we felt like we paid almost $200 to park the car for 7 days!
