Red Roof Inn Yuba City - Hotel in Yuba City - 1001 Clark Ave Building A, USA

The room was adequate for our one night stay. The location of the room was located at another building a block away from the main building. The ice machine was broken at our location so had to drive back to the main location to get ice. Our room was on the 3rd floor where there was a family that had small children who ran around a lot. One benefit of the room was a good air conditioner and a decent sized refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave oven that had a broiler heater element. The buildings are a bit dated but we got value using AAA membership and senior discount. When my wife went to check out, she asked for a receipt after returning to room key cards. The counter person said she couldn't do it because she was scanning something into the computer. Fortunately, another employee printed out a receipt from another terminal via the same system, smh.

Room was over 100 degrees. After turning on the AC it remained over 100 degrees 3 hours later even with cold air coming from the AC because they were to cheap to cool the rooms down ahead of time. The virtual assistant check in is is not personal at all and a horrible idea. He said it's the new technology and I told him it is very impersonal. I would not recommend this hotel very bad experience.

Realistically 2 1/2. Comfy bed. Clean room. Broken mini fridge which was a huge bummer. Ac was barely working but that could be due to high heat. Absolute rubbish breakfast, carbs and cereal with no protein or fruit. Also check out is 11am and I was seconds away from walking out the door at 1103 and manager was calling hustling me out the door and asking if I wanted a second night which again was less then 3 minutes after check out time. I’ve never experienced this, also pool is out of service. Ok experience. *changed to one star because the hotel clearly uses ai to respond to reviews. A shameful and lazy business practice.

We stayed in room 243. The full size fridge was perfect for us, as we were roadtripping and had a cooler of food we needed to keep cold. The convection oven microwave was also most excellent because we prefer not to eat restaurant food. We would definitely recommend! The only bummer was that the pool was being rennovated so i didnt get a swim but from the looks of things, once the renos are done, the place is going to be legitimately luxury! We got upgraded on our last night to a more expensive room and i liked room 243 better! Shhh, don't tell anyone! 🤭 We would definitely stay again!

Room was clean, not alot of outside noise. The noisy fridge coming on every hour was very annoying however. Breakfast was not a full breakfast, but can get you on the road until your next food stop. Would be a better outside view if they would spruce up buildings as it’s pretty questionable as to if it’s a safe place ( even though we had no issues). They do ask $100 refundable deposit for safety reasons so watch out for that when checking in.

DO NOT TRY TO STAY HERE! I say "try" because we booked a room here, and when we arrived during the normal check in hours, there was no desk clerk to give us a key. We waited for 1.5 hours and they never showed up or answered their phone during that time frame. We had a screaming baby after 12 hours on the road so we ended up giving up and finding another place to stay, costing us even more. There was nothing we could have done to stay here if they weren't here to give us a key. The worst part is both us and Orbitz reached out on our behalf to demand a refund and the manager of this hotel would not grant it and said their rules still apply. I'm sorry, but for your rules to apply, you also need to keep your half of the deal and actually BE THERE to give us a key. So I hope this review helps your manager make this right again and gives us a refund so I can higher your review, otherwise, let this be everyone's warning never to "try" to stay here.

Positive: Bed was comfortable. Negative: Front desk guy was VERY creepy. The bath tub was DIGUSTING. The breakfast was bad. Hard bagels and pastries. These are the same as the cheap Walmart off brand. Not 1 piece of fruit or yogurt available. Negative: ""

Absolutely the best customer service around this area and considering all of the motels in this area are about the same price (or more) I would say this is where anyone should stay if they are considering which hotel is best for your $. The rooms are very spacious and have EVERYTHING one needs! Laundry on site as well. Customer service is always outstanding and the location is ok even so, I believe a security guard is on duty around the clock so I feel pretty safe even if the area is a little sketch. Anyways if you're considering staying at the Red roof inn I would say go for it!
