Red Roof Inn Tifton - Hotel in Tifton - 1025 W 2nd St, USA

We where traveling back north and was tired and decided to stay at the red roof because we have stayed at some in the past that were pretty decent. I do not recommend staying here at all, the rooms smelled so bad, there were stains all over the couch and floor, I had burn holes everywhere, the pull out couch had blunt pieces in it. I went to the office to asked for a different room because we seen multiply open rooms and she wouldn’t even try to get us in another room. As I was in the lobby there was another couple having issues with the rooms also. If you want a cheap please to stay or a party place this is your spot, but if you’re looking for comfort and a good nights rest there are a ton of better places.

My company booked me a room at this hotel while my truck was down for repairs. I had to stay five nights, the first couple nights were fine, but check in was a bit rocky. The front desk was confused about how to find my reservation booked through the company, which was irritating to say the least. On the 3rd day in a roach came crawling down the curtain, I killed it and told housekeeping about it the next day. I stayed thinking it was just an anomaly, but the morning of the 5th day I was greeted in the bathroom by a large roach on the tp roll. After swatting that one I walked back in the room to find one crawling up the wall. I killed that and called to complain, then I saw one on the ceiling.... That was it for me!!! I called my company and demanded they get me out of there, even though my truck was still in repair. I don't recommend this place past a couple night stay or if you don't want to deal with stains on the chairs. If you're looking for a quick overnight only!!

The clerk was very helpful and friendly. After the experience at an Oyo in Sturgis, MI. I am so glad Red Roof was in my route. The room was great!!! Water pressure was good, the beds were comfortable, and had truck parking in the back. Will definitely stay again.

On July 24th, my husband and I stayed in your motel. After checking in, we discovered that the air conditioning did not work, there were several cockroaches on the floor, and the room had a very unpleasant smell. We asked to change our room, which the hotel clerk did right away. Early the next morning, July 25th, at approximatly 1:10 a.m., I heard someone trying to enter our room. I put a chair up against the door and attempted to return to sleep. A few minutes later, there was a loud knocking on our door. I saw that the night clerk was outside. She wanted to know why we were in that room. I explained to her what had happened and her reply was, "well, it is not in the computer and you may have to come to the office." We were extremely upset with this situation and were unable to return to sleep. We decided to leave the motel at around 1:30 a.m. When I went to check out, the clerk made no attempt to apologize for someone's very obvious mistake. This whole experience was not just upsetting, it was also very scary for us to be woken up in the middle of the night! Not to mention having to drive a very long way on very little rest/sleep. I found the nighttime clerk to be very rude. I did finally speak to manager of this motel and she could only say that I could get a VIP pass and would have to drive back to Tifton to get it! I live in Florida! This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I most definatley DO NOT WANT TO STAY THERE AGAIN!!! I am usually very forgiving and understand that mistakes happen, however the attitude and the way the clerk approached us was awful!!!

The receptionist was very helpful, the room was ok , but noisy great value fir money . BUT One reason we chose this Red Roof hotel was because it advertised a swimming pool which we were looking forward to chilling . When we saw it we were shocked , green and filthy . They should tell people when they book the pool is not useable,after looking at the pictures of the pool on their website they should be taken down. Also they show a lovely breakfast set up , there was nothing at all when we stayed there only coffee.

Stay dates 3/7-3/8/24. Do not stay here! While I was checking in, I saw a large cockroach the size of my palm crawling across the glass of the lobby. The girl checking me in noticed it too. I asked if there were issues with cockroaches, she replied that pest control had just been there. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn’t have ignored the red flag. The first evening we saw nothing. I throughly checked the room before bringing in any luggage for roaches and bed bugs. I didn’t find any. Other minor things were: mini fridge didn’t work, burn holes on the blankets in a non smoking room, stains on sheets. We were out for most of the day and when we arrived back to the hotel at night. I was greeted with a cockroach in the bathroom. I would have checked out immediately but my kids were beyond tired. I killed the roach, left the bathroom light on and stuffed a towel in the crack of the bathroom door. They will post a reply back and say they regularly use pest control. A blatant lie. If one regularly uses pest control there would be no pests. Especially not one the size of your palm. Room 201 for reference. Go elsewhere.

The front desk was very helpful. I had a small issue that was corrected immediately. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable. I am staying here on my way back to Florida.

I stayed here a week ago I paid for a room for three nights they gave me a non smoking room which was fine because I don't smoke or my husband don't smoke they said I would have to leave a 50.00 deposit and when I check out the money will be refunded once I checked out I checked out at 3:30 am I turned the keys in before I left they kept my 50.00 and refused to give it back that is bad business for that motel. I don't recommend anyone to stay there highway robbery.
