Stayed here in passing. Great place to stay. The guy at the front when we came in every nice. Sweet staff. Clean room the whole hotel was clean. Staff was every helpful when I needed an extra pillow. Will stay again
I live in Austin but had a friend’s wedding in nearby rural Kaufman, was needing a cheap place to crash for a night so I wasn’t driving back late, and this was the perfect place. Nice room, parking, nice AC machine for the hot Texas nights, comfy bed and pillows, and the folks behind the desk were super nice and friendly. I mean it in a good way that you get what you pay for. As in it’s not the Hilton, but it’s not Motel 6. And has Texas shaped waffles.
The people here have been very nice. The room is tidy. I got the room closest to the door by the pool which is very handy for taking my dog out.
Positive: The location. Negative: The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned and there was a big booger on the floor. The bottom sheet had what looked like a blood smear and a spot of some sort of bodily fluid (about 3? x 4?) - it may have been a stain; I slept on the other side.
The room smelt heavily of pinesol. And everyone's favorite, Bed bugs!! But we were able to get a refund.
Room was little dirty, specially bathroom toilet, if you are traveling and just need 1 night is fine!! Dogs stay free
Positive: Customer service Negative: The pool was full of bugs. Also saw an inch and a half cockroach in breakfast area
Whenever I travel, I stay in a hotel because I travel with my animals and they accommodated my needs. They put me on the first floor as closest to that exit as they could. Everybody was nice. I even locked myself out of the room. They gave me another key the breakfast was good there’s nothing bad I can say about this location. In fact, I will be back in February and I will stay with them again.
Visited the museum as a destination on a family history tour. My dad trained there in Course 9. A wonderful museum in a somewhat obscure location. The museum and its associated WWII era history is a must see for any military history buff, and or avia
Favorite breakfast place in Terrell! They have such kind staff who are amazing at making you feel welcome and accepted. The food is always amazing and I love the atmosphere!
I was introduced to this dinner by a local who recommended Pop's for good cooked food. They have 16 different vegetables and meat cooked in 15 different ways. I had fried chicken, corn, and the most deliciously prepared pumpkin! I'll definitely reco
