Red Roof Inn Nacogdoches - Hotel in Nacogdoches - 2020 NW Stallings Dr, USA

It's a very basic hotel with no fancy amenities, but I've stayed there twice recently and expect to again soon. Rooms are clean and attractive with comfortable beds. My interactions with the front desk staff were always pleasant.

Very clean and well kept motel. The bed was so comfortable. I had room 117, it has a king bed. The electric plug ins were very convenient, bedside plug ins for internet devices were up to date. I recommend this property for an economical stay while traveling. My only complaint is people sitting in camp chairs a couple of doors down from my room talking loudly, it was annoying. I thought the road noise from Hwy 59 might be an issue, but even though it was a damp overcast night, it wasn't a problem. I slept very soundly. My standard for cleanliness is high and this room met my expectations. This property is on my list of places to stay while on a road trip. The security locks on the doors were in working order and I felt very safe. My tip is the refrigerator has a freezer compartment, so I could refreeze my ice bags for my small cooler bag.

Young lady at check in was very nice. The room had a little bit of a smell, but not unbearable and went away shortly. The room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have had in a hotel. I also love the dispensers instead if having soggy bars of soap.

The previous tenant definitely smoked in our allegedly non-smoke room’s restroom, and the smell was awful. The front desk clerk came into our room to spray something. He prefaced that his nose was not great, but then proceeded to tell us there was no smell. How can you tell us the clearly cigarette odor isn’t pervading if your nose isn’t working? Gaslighting customers isn’t a great business practice.. Anyways, we requested for a room change, and the clerk rudely stated it wasn’t possible because the room was too used, and he couldn’t take a loss. Mind you, we were in the room for no more than an hour, hardly touching anything. Thankfully, the third party booking service provided partial compensation. If anyone in your party is sensitive to smells or has asthma, I don’t recommend this location. The lack of accommodation and understanding here was mind boggling.

We chose this hotel based on the recent Google reviews. They were not wrong! This is a great place to stay!!! Check-in was a breeze, and our room was very clean. The price was great as well. We will stay here next time we pass through Nacogdoches.

Google does not allow me to give it a zero star. We booked a nonsmoking room, but the room is full of a strong stinky smoking smell. We complained to the manager after we came back from dinner. He sprayed the room with air fresher but denied he can smell anything. He also refused to change a room for us, saying once we walk in the room, he cannot change it. Travelers, if you see this review, do not ever book this place.

Beautiful, newly remodeled location. Clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights, and loved it. This will be our go to hotel for future visits to Nacogdoches TX. Very friendly staff. Excellent value, our room was $66. It's on a highway, however with the a/c on or door closed it was very quiet. Loved it

Positive: Clean room Negative: The electric went out and their generator as not working so the ac didn't work. Little water pressure and impossible to use the hairdryer. We came to g3t away from our home because we had not lights, etc. We just wanted stress free evening.
