Red Roof Inn Monroe - Hotel in Monroe - 927 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, USA

I could not have been happier with our stay. We stayed one night and the room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The owners were so nice. They kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will mark this hotel as our future stopping point.

3.5 stars. Overall, pretty clean. Bed isn’t too bad. Guy at the front was accommodating. Very little parking, not a great option for oversized vehicles and trucks. Good rate.

Positive: Given my circumstances of having been denied my reservation because I believed the amenity of being pet friendly, and having to drive another 20 minutes in my uhaul with two cats after a 10 hour day, I was overjoyed to get a room. The room was great! Negative: Maybe not the responsibility of RRI, but the smell of pot permeated the stairway--even the next day! There were several men loitering in their cars so felt uncomfortable. No one bothered me, tho.

Came in at 2 a.m. and easily secured a room at the front desk after a long drive. The guy at the front counter was kind and straight to the point, getting us into a room that was easily accessible from the parking lot. One of the most clean, and nice looking places I've ever stayed for the price. There weren't any of the regular mildew smells that you'd normally smell in these chain-type motels. The floors were clean enough to want to walk on, and the sheets were obviously fresh and clean. Overall very pleased with our stay. There is a train that runs very close to the property though, so this is something to consider if you have restless kids or issues with light sleeping, but it's not something that motel can control. 10/10 otherwise.

After losing our home we had no choice but to turn to area hotels to keep my girlfriend and I from having to live in our car. After weeks of one bad experience after another we finally did ourself a favor and booked a week at Red Roof Inn Monroe. The entire staff here have been wonderful the whole time. The rooms are clean, the housekeepers are kind, respectful, and always willing to help in anyway that they can. Our housekeeper Lisa has been amazing constantly checking in on us to see If we need anything. I would highly recommend staying here any chance you get.

My interaction with all the employees here has been very pleasant. They’re very professional and helpful, and clearly have the customers needs as a top priority. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the beds are very comfortable! Another plus is pets are allowed. Can’t beat Red Roof Inn in Monroe, and their reasonable prices and over all customer service!

The Red Roof Inn was extremely nice as well as the staff. The room was completely remodeled, very clean and comfortable. We will definitly stay again when back in town. EXCELENT ESTABLISHMENT!!

After a 12 hour drive, I stopped in Monroe for a night and chose the Red Roof Inn. The management was very warm and hospitable. My room was surprisingly spacious and very, very clean- floors, linens, bathroom - clean. Strong wifi as well. I felt safe and got some much needed rest to continue my tour of Louisiana. I'd definitely stay here again.
