If you have a family with kids this is not the place for you. After calling ahead and verifying the my room was booked and paid in advance for the night and that it had plenty of room for our kids to crash for a quick rest. while in town visiting family on our way home from Norfolk, VA. After arriving late, which i notified them that we would be arrive late. The desk clerk met me at the door, and refused to check us in, and that we were not allowed to stay in the room that we reserved and would have to go elsewhere at 2am...
DO NOT rent a room here. I woke up to cockroaches crawling on me, all over the floor, & my belongings. The pillows are stained & filthy. Room smelled, & bathroom not clean. The pictures do not match what you get. We were told the cleaning people don’t always clean real good. Well, that’s no excuse. I’ve stayed in upscale hotels & lower end across the entire country (Including Red Roof Inn’s often) & this was definitely the worst. Then they said they would refund (because this was the first night of a 5 night stay) & they kept 2 nights when our refund receipt did not reflect that. It’s cheap for a reason, don’t do it!
Pleasantly surprised. It's the Red Roof, not a boutique hotel, but this place is nice. I am working in the area and chose the hotel due to price, expecting a budget experience. The rooms were nicely renovated, very clean, and comfortable. The property is a 1980's era building so it is what you may expect, but the renovation and cleanliness sets it apart from its peers. The only thing I could find, when looking for something to balance the positivity of my surprise is that the towels and bedding are a bit tired, but again clean. Whenever interacting with the owner/couple the experience has been very pleasant, they are great hosts. I will return often.
Checked in with no reservations, staff was very attentive, asking if I preferred upstairs or downstairs front side or back , places to eat that the locals prefer compared to chain restaurants. Staff was very attentive and helpful from checking in to out. Front desk agent event brought out to my car my wallet left on the counter by mistake with over 300.00 dollars in cash and NOT A DIME MISSING, super honest front desk agent. Even refused a tip for the honesty. It's not a upscale hotel, but well worth the money for a great sale secure and honest place to sleep and not have to worry about anything. Would and will stay there again when I return with my old school 71 heavy Chevy for the James Deen car show. Car is all original worth a great deal of money and I have no hesitation about parking it in there well lit and safe parking lot. Pictures of the car, rims and tires alone cost 5 grand so you know I will only stay in a hotel that I feel is safe. Why I visited before I bought my old school car.
Clean and comfortable lodging at an affordable price. Rooms may be dated, but always ultra clean and well-maintained. The franchise location is family-run and service is very professional. (I'm a picky former hotel manager.) The grounds are well kept and the lot is secure and well-lit at night. The complimentary WiFi works well and is reliable. Housekeeping is excellent and on top of their game.||My thanks to Rita and the staff for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Do not come here. We booked in advance (on their website!) with 4 people and when we got there they told us they can't house 4 adults, and made us pay for a second room. First room on the second floor looked great but had mould in the air conditioner, and the second room below was absolutely awful and hard to find. Opened the door and it smelled like smoke despite claiming they're smoke-free, bedsheets covered in dust and mysterious stains, phone clearly hadn't been touched in years, there were stains on the mirror and the bathroom wasn't sealed properly. Other inhabitants were loud very late into the night. Horrible experience, but at least there weren't bed bugs.
Rooms are dirty. Looks like never cleaned in ages. You will find hairs, bed bugs, stains all over the bathroom. We checked out within 2 hours of check in after vomiting multiple times due to the condition of the room. Owner does not understand the word customer service. He acts as if he is doing us a favor by letting us stay.
the roof is red cause the amount of red flags of this place it seems. so me and 4 friends came here after one of us reserved online. they proceeded to tell us our reservation had been canceled cause 4 adult weren’t allowed to share a room despite the website not mentioning so so we had to pay $100+ for a new room. after that we went to our rooms and while the upstairs one was fine besides for mold on the floor in the bathroom and the ac. the bottom one however was difficult to find, had several stains on the bed, phone, mirror, and bathroom and smelt like cigarettes despite the bragging of being non smoking. my friends had to wash down the place with alcohol spray and felt concerned and uncomfortable even sleeping in there. the bathrooms also had no ventilation which i conveniently found out after going in the shower after my friend did and slipped and almost fell on the incredibly wet floor which seemingly was growing mold right next to the bath tub and in the toilet paper holder. after looking at the reviews this is apparently not an uncommon experience. Do Not Go Here it sucks and the beds didn’t even have the audacity to be comfortable
This place is phenomenal! The food is amazing! The people are kind and hospitable. The aesthetics are peaceful. The southwestern sandwich is delicious. The chicken tortilla soup is also amazing. There are so many things I want to try on the menu. I w

Originally, I was going to leave a bad review here, but by the time I got through the drive through line my opinion was entirely changed. You canât go in to buy donuts, it is drive-through only. Be prepared to wait a bit. When I finally got to the
This establishment is by far a hidden gem. The waitress was attentive and understanding, allowed me time to enjoy my chips and salsa instead of rushing my dinner out per my request as most places rush ya this place allows you to just take your time a
