Red Roof Inn Los Angeles – Bellflower - Hotel in Bellflower - 8730 Artesia Blvd, USA

On September 1st 2024 I got to the Red roof motel at 2pm and checked into my room, me and my wife checked it out and we didn’t notice anything at first because it wasn’t a thorough check But after a hour of being there we notice it was a roach crawling on the floor, immediately packed our stuff and went to the front office with video proof of bugs in there room. There was smashed cockroaches on the ceilings and front door. I talked to the lady at front desk about a refund of $120 which is a crazy amount for them to be charging when they know there motel is infested with bugs. This lady proceeded to ignore the fact that I had proof of their dirty room. She only offered 10 percent of my money back which highly unacceptable. Me and my wife tried to go back in the room once we realized she wasn’t trying to help us give a refund and hoping it won’t be too many but at as soon as we returned we started to see a ridiculous amount of roaches coming out the bed frame, tables and walls. We could not stay there any longer and left and found another room. This is highly unacceptable and I’m reporting them to the health department & I advice you don’t ever come here. I wouldn’t even come here if I was homeless. I’ve never felt so disgusted in a place like this in my life.

Cockroaches, silverfish, fleas, that’s just the start of what I experienced at this Red Roof Inn in Bellflower. Absolutely disgusting. I kept going to the front desk telling them that I had cockroaches and I needed to be moved and the girl who was at the front desk, said to me “we don’t have a room like you paid for”. I told her I didn’t care what I paid for there are cockroaches and to please move me and she wouldn’t do it. Stay Away!

Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here! I recently stayed at this RED ROOF hotel at Bellflower CA, and it was an awful experience from start to finish. The room had a terrible odor that hit me as soon as I walked in. To make matters worse, there were insects in the room, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The sheets on the bed were disgusting, with hairs from previous guests still on them, and they also had an unpleasant smell. There was no microwave available in the room, which was very inconvenient. The towels provided were stained and had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals, making them unusable. The hotel's hallways were filthy and noisy, with strange people wandering around at all hours, making me feel unsafe. Additionally, the pool was out of service but still filled with filthy water, which was a horrible sight. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness, safety concerns, and overall poor maintenance made it a very unpleasant stay. Avoid this place at all costs!

The photos on their website seem to be edited because when we got to our room, this is what we found. No smoke alarm, toilet paper pushed through the peep hole, dried up toilet paper on the bathroom walls and the toilet paper they had stocked on the roll looked to be dried up and used, and it looks like blood stains on the sheets. The front desk person rushed us out as we were expressing our concerns and demanding a refund because their were other people waiting to check in. It seems as if they know about the issues, but dont put forth the effort to address and correct them. I definitely would not recommend.

I’d give it a 0 if it let me the option to choose. First of all they have a mess with their rooms, because they cancel your reservations last minute, then they confirm, then they cancel, and it’s frustrating and confusing. They switched to a smoking room when I never asked them to, I made my reservation on time, non smoking room, and in the end they switched to a smoking room without my consent, then they cancel, and then confirmed still smoking room, then they went ahead and charged me for the night and tried to charge my card twice because they told me I doubled booked? When I never did, these people are shady, and will charge you for hidden fees, I want my money back!!!! They literally have a mess with reservations.

This place was disgusting. My fiance walked in the room. The bathroom light didn't work. Bed bugs in corners , in the bed . It was awful. He took pictures and they said it was roaches . No it's bed bugs and if it were infested with roaches same problem. And didn't want to refund money back. Dang

First of all was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. First room they gave me was not even done. It was dirty and the beds where not done. The 2nd room they gave me didn't even have bathroom towels. And the TV was broken.end up leaving. For 100 dollars not worth it.front desk was rude .do not recommend this hotel. Stay away

I didn’t Stay in my room that I booked at All. I got to the hotel at around 9 after my all day Conference appointment at Cerritos College. I had my wife go to the hotel at around 3:30 to pay and get the keys, when she seen the room she said it was horrible. She wanted to wait for me to see it but she knew that we weren’t staying there. When I got there it was needle punctures in the toilet paper in the bathroom the room smelt like drugs and cigarettes. It was a horrible room. I didn’t ask for another I informed the woman in the front office immediately that I won’t be standing in the room and asked her who do I speak with about a refund she told me to contact the hotel on Monday because she was unable to process a refund. This is by far the worst experience of a room I’ve witnessed the sheets were also dirty and filthy. The bed linen was horrible and smelled like cigarettes. The room was not clean under no circumstances.
