Red Roof Inn Lafayette - Purdue University - Hotel in Lafayette - 4201 South St, USA

I recently booked at this “hotel” and had a highly disappointing experience. The property did not match the photos provided online, and the condition of the rooms was far below acceptable standards. Additionally, I found the staff to be unprofessional and unresponsive. I booked a 7-night stay through a third party, and upon arrival, I realized that the accommodation was unsuitable. I requested a partial refund or credit, but Patel, who identified himself as a supervisor, refused and insisted that I handle the issue through the third party. However, once I contacted the third party, they informed me that it was the manager's responsibility to process such requests due to their agreement with red roof. I believe if someone is providing you their service and it’s not what you thought it was going to be and on top not staying there, I deserve a refund or at least a credit but seems like the money was all that was important to him. This lack of accountability and transparency was frustrating. Due to the poor condition of the rooms, which were both smelly and unsanitary, I had no choice but to find alternative hotel. I would strongly advise not staying here, as the management is disorganized and the service falls short of expectations.

Absolutely great here! So clean and friendly! Definitely coming back. Rooms are big and super clean! Definitely the best in town and super cheap rates! Can't beat this place the owner also told us they are remodeling the rooms and getting all new furniture!

Rooms were comfortable and staff was accommodating. Minor repairs/maintenance needed, but overall I really enjoyed our stay. One bed had some dirty sheets but was replaced promptly. I would stay again!

Positive: They staff does leave you alone if you get a do not disturb sign from the front desk. Negative: LOTS of people that don't mind their own business....there was an older gentleman in room #110 or somewhere close to there... My kids and I really enjoy staying here at the Red Roof Inn.. their staff is friendly and will work with you when times are tough.. The rooms were always clean (no dirty sheets, no dirty towels, very clean).. The Red Roof Inn Purdue University is also in walking distance to a variety of restaurants, fast food chains and Walmart is located right behind the hotel.. Thank You Red Roof 😊 keep up the great work... Whether you're here visiting or vacation.. Then my recommendation is the Red Roof Inn Purdue University.... Or maybe you stay here in Lafayette and experiencing hard times then this is a hotel that will work with you... And a place where you could have a peace of mind and they are pet friendly... Again Thank You to the Owner, Staff and the house keeping for the comforting stay....

Staff is very nice and has great customer service... they are very helpful if you need anything. Prices stay reasonable and don't skyrocket like other ones in the area. Rooms are comfortable and there are great places nearby for shopping and dining.. Will stay as long as needed. 😉😊

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Overall its all good. This inn has a great location. Walmart, Olive garden(in the next parking lot), chipotle, IHOP are all within walking distance. Staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed for a week. We rarely heard any noise and it was muffled. Overall it was quiet. We were on the ground floor and the place was fully booked but we never heard any noise from upstairs. the bed was very comfy. Rooms open out to the parking lot or balcony. Room had an odor, not sure if it was the cleaning products. Coffee maker had mildew. There were insects in the bathroom. The staff sprayed each time I asked them till the I saw no more insects. The AC was annoying. even though the weather was nice the AC had to be run all the time. It would either be too cold or too warm. It is noisy.
