Red Roof Inn Fort Worth South - Featured Reviews (475)
By far the worst stay ever. The roaches were INSANE! Dirty room with cigarette burns decorating the bedding and furniture. Looks like pepper spray had been sprayed at some point in the room and left to accommodate the cracks and holes in the wall. Some rude short Mexican man had a Napoleon's complex and was screaming at me at 11am to get out when I extended my room. Very aggressive and scared me as a single woman. But from the looks of the environment, he is probably used to dealing with drug addicts but I was not that. My car ran hot in the area and I just needed somewhere to be until I could get some help. The door did not close completely. I had to but the dead bolt and latch on for it to half way stay closed. Very unsafe and scary. I have stayed at many Red Roofs and never experienced such TRASH accommodations. If you are thinking about booking here, DON'T!
As the previous reviews convey the staff is rude and give abnormal stares. Understood giving the area is not the best there are some who mess it up for all. They are not friendly people, housekeeping and multiple people knock on the doors way before check out time. If its 11am you don’t disturb guests until after that time. One of the housekeeping ladies was combative and very argumentative telling me she had to clean rooms and proceeded to rush me. I asked to be placed close to front and was placed at back. The door latch was not secure and was broken, the water pressure is low and bathtub was clogged the whole time. Also they never wash those top blanket throws, i see them throw the bedding over the staircase where it lands on the ground to be collected. It pays to treat your guest with kindness!
And to add also.. the housekeeping lady also threatened to call the police on me as she tried to talk to me like a child trying to kick me out of room. Then proceeded to suggest i were poor cause i’d stayed 3 nights in a hotel. Might i add.. this is a luxury to be able to stay in hotels it’s far from cheap. Reasons like that is why customers act up with them it gives discriminatory!
Positive: The motel was older but the owners have tried to update the rooms with cute bedspreads and nice bathrooms. We got to the motel at 11:30 and they accommodated us with a room even though check in was at 3! The staff offered to carry my bag to the room. Negative: It was older and the location was in an older part of town but again the owners/staff were amazing. Negative: ""
Room was dirty. Blood stains on curtain and wall. Cigarette burns in the covers. No soap. Homeless people under our stairs. Scenery was not appealing. Also had roaches so we cut our stay short.
The lady at the desk was really nice. And the room was awesome. The TV wasn't all that good tho.
Not only did they have bed bugs they would not refund my room. Stole my wallet and wouldn’t give it back. They then proceeded to tell me i stole their sheets. Even though i removed them and handed them to them. This place is overly unprofessional. Spend a extra 15 dollars and go somewhere else.
Bless this Red Roof Inn for having a room available for us after Asshat Wyndham Super 8 in Mt Pleasant, TX f'd us out of the room we reserved 8 months ago to see the eclipse this month.
The hotel was neat and clean. The groundskeeper even brought me a chair to watch the eclipse in. And the hotel owner brought us out some bottled water. Best service I've had in a long time in a hotel.
The TVs are analong, so half of the channels didn't work the other half came in very fuzzy. Bed felt like I was lying in a trampoline and had no table to sit at to eat your food. Literally, the nearest food was a gas station to this area. The front desk lady was okay but nothing to brag about. I wouldn't spend my money on this place again
So pleasantly surprised with the most incredible stay at the Sandman in Downtown Fort Worth. I chose this hotel because of the raving reviews it had. I was on work travel and it was out of the way but I am SO glad I chose this hotel.
