Reviewing this as a 2 star hotel, you get what you pay for...usually. in this case you get quite a bit more. For the price and 2 star rating i was expecting a rundown room, Poor breakfast and such. But I'm pleasantly surprised. Everything worked in my room. The mattress was very comfy. It was clean the staff were super nice and the breakfast was actually there. They have muffins, pastries, yogurt, orange and apple juice and a waffle maker. With a waffle House in the same parking lot I was expecting them to not really have anything. There are a few downsides such as the pool being closed and the laundry machines costing $3 each a load but your not coming to these hotels to stay as a vacation. Your coming to these as a rest stop between destinations.
Rooms were clean and adequate, staff was friendly and accommodating. That being said, our room needed some minor maintenance, things the cleaning staff should notice when readying the room for guests. No excuse for things like loose faucets. Attention to details get you more stars.
Positive: I cancelled my stay immediately upon arrival Negative: It was NOT as advertised. It looked condemned. There was a broken down camper in the parking lot that someone lived in. I watched what appeared to be a drug deal in the parking lot. There were vines growing over the entry the bldg was crumbling. NO THANKS
Rooms are pretty gross, beat up, and heavily used. But towels and sheets were clean. Room smelled of mildew from the AC. Bathroom had black mold over the shower.there were multiple broken down cars in the parking lot. The staff were always above and beyond friendly though.
This one is next to a waffle House. And we had drunk people out in their parking lot yelling pretty much all night long. Yeah none of the other amenities were enough to make up for no sleep. There was no way the hotel manager couldn't have heard it and done something. Never never stay here.
My husband and I spent the night here while traveling south. The first room they gave us had not been cleaned or made up. That is when we should have left. The room we were assigned was less than expected. Unfortunately, we were exhausted and decided to stay. NEVER AGAIN... nothing had been dusted, base boards and corners of floor in the bathroom were nasty, it smelled damp, the furniture was beat up and the beds were terrible. Neither of us slept. I probably slept two hours. We decided to leave about 3:30 AM. We usually stay at Red Roof because we travel with a tiny yorkee, however, I would recommend you find another place.
Stay away! Unkept and old building with many problems. Dripping tub faucet, cracked and missing grout in restroom, worn TV remote, door to guestroom didn't have the proper installation and could see outside where the door met the frame. Lots of noise too. The photo is after rinsing it under hot water and with nothing else, cleaning the desk. FILTHY!!
Met most expectations for a 2-star hotel. Nice pet friendly hotel. Only suggestion is that they need to clean their floors with something more than a vacuum. If you spill water and use a towel to clean it up, your towel is black (not good), so with proper floor cleaning (much needed with our furry friends staying with us) this would be 5 stars.
Rooms are beautifully kept, clean, great service. We loved seeing all the pets, even though we didnt travel with our own. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for everything
Wonderful small brewery tucked away in downtown Dalton. They offer flights of FIVE beers rather than the typical four, so we had a chance to sample most of their offerings, which is surprisingly large selection. We found them all quite tasty, but esp
Coffee shop in a church, which isn't a thing for me but may be a problem for you. Yes, you can be a heathen and get your coffee here and even use the internet for an hour or two. On a weekday morning, it was quiet and I had no trouble finding parking
I came in for an earl grey tea latte and some baked goods. The drink and food were excellent. I was also impressed with the service. The woman who runs this cafe is warm-hearted and kind. I would definitely go back here for another visit.
I am so happy that I found this Turkish restaurant in Dalton . I have lived in Turkey for 10 years . When I go to this restaurant all memories came to my mind ( baklava , Turkish music, kebab ⦠) . The food is amazing . We ordered hummus and chicke
My family of 4 went here around 5:30 on a Sunday evening. We were immediately seated. The waitress and, I assume, the owner were very friendly and attentive. The dining area and restroom seemed clean. Some plates were brought to us by the waitress,
Went MTB, as 1st timer. Took two kids. Stayed off the extreme trails, but the rest were well-maintained and easy to navigate. Maps were clear and trails marked. Loved it!
Me, my husband, and my son couldn't be thankful enough to have found this place! We drive OTR and trying to make it home in time for thanksgiving with the family. We weren't showing to get home till about 10 tonight so we figured we might as well fi
Stopped in to try for the first time. Early dinner on a weekday. No wait for a table. Lots to choose from. I ordered the fried shrimp, my wife ordered the shrimp po boy. Both came out relatively quickly and were fresh and hot. No issues, will return
