I booked a room here for one night, and I immediately noticed that when I walked inside of the room, the carpet smelt really bad. The bed smelt bad and pillowcases, and there was dry stains on the toilet. The PHONE on the dresser is completely disconnected and doesn’t work the TV doesn’t work, but they have two remotes, we’ve complained two times about the TV not working and management just kept sending us back-and-forth knowing that the TV is NO LUCK!!! This is ridiculous. It was freezing in there. It’s NO HEAT!! They gave up SHEETS TO SLEEP WITH that was already on the beds…We went back to the office to complain again and there were people in there complaining about the same exact things we were going through. We paid almost $90 for this room and it was completely terrible. Management doesn’t care they just take your money a whole lot of scammers that work at that location housekeeping doesn’t clean the rooms properly. I’ve worked in housekeeping before and I’ve seen a lot of things in that room that they never touched up on including that toilet. Pillowcases were stained and dirty, and they smell like someone was laying on them!!!

The staff here are great! They've been nothing but kind and helpful during my stay. Our room is very clean with no signs of bugs or rodents. They offer maid service more often than you would ever need and the linen is always in superb condition. The other guests that are staying here are friendly and this hotel is quite quiet and peaceful. Their accommodations for your dogs to go outside are perfect. My two dogs love running up and down the grassy and private area while playing fetch too! This place feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town and main roadways and I feel quite safe here. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I brought my nine year old to a wrestling event in Cleveland. This was the least expensive option and based my decision around a travel sites review. After a long flight and getting in at 11:30 I was notified that my room was no longer available and I would have to take a downgraded room. The room smelled like stale smoke, missing pillow cases, the pillows were brown and the floors couldn’t have been vacuumed in the past month. I asked for pillow cases and when I went to put one in, I noticed there was dried blood on it (photo attached). I’m not unreasonable and I’m fairly rational. We purchased in this area because it’s affordable and we wouldn’t be in our hotel long since we were here for a wrestling event. However, there are literally zero other hotels that have availability. Sadly, we’re stuck.

My stay was exciting... The front desk lady was awesome. While checking in, multiple police had a few people in handcuffs. That was my first clue to cancel the reservation. I saw a couple that checked in, they went to the room and left. It was easy to see they were displeased. The smell was horrible. The floor had a film of some sort. If my wife was with me, we would have left. Shame on management. Do better.

Booked several months ago. Confirmed our booking with the front desk this morning when we arrived early. Tried to check in early. Room wasn't ready, no big deal. We ask the front desk if it's cool if we park our vehicle here and check in later. He says yes. We head into the city for the day. We get back tired at the end of a very long day. Try to check in, and are informed they sold our room, leaving us without a room for the night. Then they not only refused to compensate us for walking our room, but they also refused to give us the corporate number to call for a refund. 0/10 would not recommend.

I have stayed at this location once a week for the past month due to work travel and never fails my room hasn’t had toilet paper.. no big deal just go ask. Just don’t go ask for towels or wash cloths that’s an extra charge Normally a decent hotel quiet and good location. Could be cleaner but you get what you pay for. Spend an extra $40 go across the street and they give you breakfast!

I stayed here for over a year. I watched the place go through a lot of change. Not much of it for the better. At the end of the day, it is a business, and the bottom line is money, which is understandable. But it's coming at putting guests' health and safety at risk. The rooms need an overhaul. The housekeepers were worked like dogs if they even showed up. Bugs were an issue, safety was an issue. Most management only cares about that money bottom line. The only decent thing about this place that never changed were staff who cared about the customers and went the extra mile for their guests. Those are the kinds of people who need to be protected in an industry Iike this.

My experience at this roach-infested Red Roof Inn in Independence, Ohio (6020 Quarry Lane) on June 25, 2024 through June 28, 2024 was awful.||I arrived to the hotel on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. I was in town to visit family and was excited for this visit because I have not seen them in over a year and a half. I selected this Red Roof Inn because of its location to my family and because the hotel had a pet friendly policy.||||Upon checking in, I cannot begin to express in words how disheveled, filthy, and disgusting the room was (See the attached photos). Furthermore, the room next to mine had yellow caution tape on the door. I should have taken all of these clues and gone elsewhere immediately. Yet, I stayed....until I was removed by the State of Ohio Health Department.||||At 9:30 a.m. On Wednesday, 6/26/24, there was a knock on my room door. I opened the door to see three people, two women and one male. The male was the manager of the hotel, and the women were two workers from the State of Ohio Health Department. They informed me that all of the rooms next to me and above me were cockroach-infested and they needed to check my room. That is what the yellow caution tape was for. My room was also infested and the health department workers told the manager to put me in another room. They also told me to make sure my dogs do not get fleas due to flea infestation. They then went to the next room and told the manager to open the door. He initially said he did not want to because the room was a mess. The health department workers told him he had to. As soon as he opened the door, bugs flew out and roaches were seen.||||I immediately packed up all of my bags and went to the front desk lobby to be put into another room. There was a woman before me also trying to be put into another room because her room was also roach infested. This woman was clearly drug addicted because she was tweaking and fighting with the front desk clerk. The "high" woman started screaming and crying and getting into a verbal altercation with the front desk clerk, who was yelling at the woman trying to get another room. After ten minutes of watching this craziness and unprofessionalism, I left and went to a different nearby hotel for the remainder of my stay in Cleveland. I had to pay an additional $500 for this second pet-friendly hotel (the Residence Inn, which was fantastic by the way).||||This experience is totally unacceptable. I should not have had to get kicked out of a room due to a roach infestation, and I should not have had to pay for another hotel because the front desk clerk was too busy fighting with a customer.||If you want to stay at a hotel with roaches, substance users, and probable sex workers, this is the place for you.||||See the attached photos.

I've been staying at this property whenever I've been in the Cleveland area since 2018. I'm extremely picky when it comes to hotels. The vibes, the smells, obviously the cleanness. The staff here have always been very warm, friendly, and willing to h
