The room was ok I suppose , but the outside aND the grounds were awful! No landscaping not even basics, grass had not been mowed in very long l time. My dog didn't even like using the bathroom there the grounds were so nasty! They have a pool so why is it not up and running? To me the outside the curb appeal, is as important as the inside. This place just shows their lack of concern for giving the customer the best for their buck. This place could be fully booked all the time with just a bit more work and concern from the owners. I will not stay here ever again! Unless they show they care about giving the customer their $$ worth. And make those ness.changes in my opinion. They should not be looked at as improvements. Because they are things expected with purchase of room stay.

if y’all ever wanna rent an inn DONT LET IT BE THIS ONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. i found an alive baby cockroach on the STILL WRAPPED fridge. like no one even bothered to fully unwrap it. the bathtub was clogged, speaking of the bathtub the bathroom light was outside the bathroom itself and the door knob was so difficult to open. did they purposely choose the most confusing things ever to stress us out or to keep us in here? what in the stockholm syndrome is this?? the room smells like the founder of weed came by and made it here for the first time EVER and when we complained to staff, they didn’t believe us even when we told them to come up and smell the room for themselves. if fragrant incense is expensive then GOD help us all. lemme hook y’all up, it’s literally $1 on shein 😐 THERE WAS BLOOD ON OUR BLANKETS, I REPEAT 🗣️ THERE WAS BLOOD ON OUR BLANKETS🚨‼️ no one here is wounded or menstruating so WHYYYYYY was there blood on our blanket 😐 even when we showed the dude at the front desk the LITERAL BLOOD on the blanket, he decided to not acknowledge the picture we showed him. i’ve seen a handful of mold in my short life BUT A MOLDY CHAIR????? HOWWWWW the tv manuscript thing had a ton of channels only for the tv not to work 😐 the sheets wouldn’t even fit on the bed bro what in general the room is stinky filthy dirty etc. NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS LIKABLE my uncle and his family also rented a room here the same day as us tell me why they ALSO found blood stains but to add insult to injury, POOP STAINS????? the smell of weed acted my cousins asthma and mine too while we’re at it. they found fries behind the cabinets too like does no one know how to clean?? don’t even get me started on the ac. it’s literally just white noise. you want even a slight breeze of cold air??? you’ll have to sacrifice your ability to hear bc of how loud it gets literally got a headache from sleeping here i noticed that in every bad review the managers say the same thing (like literal copy paste) but do NOTHING about it

Booked through Priceline. A lot of black mold in bathroom. Two stale mini donuts was all that was out for breakfast. Pill bugs all over the floor had to watch where you walked or made a mess. Rooms had no carpet just thin tile coming up. Not as advertised.

Stay away. No soap, no shampoo, no coffee, no drinking cups, no doorknob on bathroom door, TV didn't work, microwave didn't work, no cover on bathroom light, ac cover duct taped on, no telephone, no ashtray in smoking room. Lampshade with holes in them. Rodent hole on side of mattress, a worse than usual curry owned hotel.

We booked here because usually Redroof Inns are a nice hotel, not this one!! We reserved a room. Got there and they up charged us. They came to see my fiancé way and refunded him some of the money. That was the only good thing!! The place looked run down, the back of the place looked like a dump. WiFi worked for an hour. No waffles just doughnut and cereal, weak coffee. No vending machines no ice as advertised! We and evidently a bunch of others had no tv, maybe they didn’t pay the bill. The shower wall looked like it had never been cleaned and mold around the bottom of it. The chair in the room was peeling and you could tell the rooms were not kept up with painting or maintenance. The tv screen had something all over it as well. Commode rocked could see daylight around the door. God only knows when the last time the phone or anything in the room was cleaned. The refrigerator wasn’t that bad. Didn’t open the microwave, was scared to! Key cards worked and then wouldn’t. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EVEN A DOG TO STAY IN.

My lady and I traveled from a long distance to attend a wedding, unfortunately she booked this hotel without reading the reviews as we have stayed in many Red Roof Inns. When we arrived the flashing sign read free waffle breakfast, but the note on the door said not available. It was late so we agreed to give it a chance. After checking in we were told our room was around the back. As we drove around back and was met with a large group drinking and loud music. I immediately felt uneasy. I immediately moved our car around to another side of the hotel. Taking our personal items room was sketchy as there was very little lighting in the walkway. After getting into the room we found it to be unkept, dirty, bugs in the bathroom sink, mold growing on the bottom edge of the bathtub, outlets did not work, frayed ends on the hvac plug in. We stayed as there was no other choice for the night. I kept hearing banging through the night and stepped outside to see what it was and was approached by a dirty man asking what I was looking for, nothing I said. Sleep was hard to come by because of all the arguing, music and general mayhem outside of our door. After finally just getting up I went to the "free" breakfast and was met with moldy cereal, no milk of course, powdered donuts and was not even going to try the coffee. If loud music, drugs, trash and moldy bug rooms are your thing then this is the place for you. If not DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE ! We have reserved another hotel and are leaving immediately. Hopefully the next one will be better, but then again sleeping in a rest area would be safer than The Red Roof Inn Cartersville Ga.
