Red Roof Inn Buffalo – Hamburg/ I-90 - Hotel in Hamburg - 5370 Camp Rd, USA

Surprised how good this place was considering the reviews! Our airbnb fell through needed something last minute and comfort inn/holiday inn were booked full. The rooms were clean and smelled great, no frills which is what I expected for a red roof. Had working cold ac, well insulated room didn't hear any neighbors. No bugs, clean sheets. Very satisfied!

They now charge $15 for a second pet. Still in need of some TLC, doors that need painting etc, but much better than when these new owners first acquired the motel. There seem to be new bathroom fixtures. The toilet room light does not automatically turn on the fan which is terrific, because half the time the fans were broken and noisy. There weren’t any unhoused semi-permanent residents visible. There’s lots of grassy areas to walk one’s dog. Clean and convenient outside doors for easy loading of pets and kids. Moderately priced.

The room was dirty! The sheets were stained. The toilet seat had hair on it. The tub was so disgusting. The floor was dirty, it hadn't been mopped. I've never been so disgusted in my life. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to call the Health Department because this place is totally unsanitary.

Our room had seen better days. The top drawer front was broken off. I'll know better next time to confirm that there is a fridge, as this room did not. The tub did not have a flat bottom, it was curved. The room did seem clean though.

Friendly staff. Location and the rooms are sketchy. I requested a room with a microwave and mini fridge which at first my original room didn't have, they were nice and quickly changed my room to one that did. My new room was slightly nicer and quieter. Bathroom had no shower curtain, though, which sketched me out. The floors were pretty gross and easily noticeable they haven't been swept or mopped in a while. I wiped everything down with disinfectant wipes cause things were mildewy. Bedding was OK but definitely glad I always bring my own travel pillows as theirs were suuuuper soft to the point they were useless. Glad we weren't there long. For a quick stay (we just were in town for a show), it's not bad and in a good location. Gas and multiple food options right there (mostly fast food though, we didnt eat there but was nice to have just in case). Not a bad spot, just definitely bring your own bedding and disinfectant!

Loved it. Our room number was either 251 or 351 (i forgot)and it had a mini fridge and a microwave our bathroom did not have a lock tho I slep great too! Definitely recommend it. Oh yeah and it had a small hole in the wall.

If I could give this place, no stars, it would definitely be on there. The worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I requested a king room over the phone before I got here took me 30 minutes to get here . The man upfront right now gave me a double bedroom trying to say he gave us an upgrade then told us to come back down to get a new key for the king room we requested and wants to charge us a deposit now and very rude. Just got our money back and left by the way we came from Ohio so it wasn’t less than six hours driving here already would not recommend lots of drug activity in the parking lot so I’m glad we got our money back.

This is a dated hotel that is falling apart at the seams. While they may not “allow” smoking, my room stank as did the room next to it. The light fixture over the bed has a lens falling out of it. The molding around the floor is chipped, has paint on it, is pulling away from the wall, has large scratches. The solitary shelf in the bathroom is falling away from the wall. The security bar in the bath/shower is partially unattached. Paint is peeling from the ceiling. Over painted large cracks in the walls. Thin, cheap towels. None of the three drawers of the dresser are usable; the bottom drawers in pieces, the middle drawer Is broken and stuck, the top drawer is just plain stuck. The room is clean, but everything is old and in disrepair. Paint peeling away from the rack on the wall and the bathroom door. The gentleman at the desk is very nice, but this room is not anywhere near the price they charge Nor worth staying here if you don’t like a smelly room.
