My wife & I had stayed a this location at least 3 or 4 previous times when it was the Clarion & we never had a problem. When I made this reservation, it was through Interval International & was still listed as the Clarion but was now Red Roof. When we checked in first they said the pool was out of service, then our rooms safe was locked & they said maintenance was gone for the day, "At 3:00🤔" They never got back in touch with us during our 4 day stay. Then while sitting in their parking lot, more than a few guests told us about cockroaches in their rooms, although our room was bug free. We were in a King handicap room & although clean, it was sparsely furnished. Another issue was there were no towel bars in the bathroom, only holes in the wall were they once were & lastly the shower did not have ANY SHELVES at all. No where to put your soap, or shampoo or razor. This hotel will be off our list for some time until the reviews show that they are addressing the issues. Next time we'll be across the road at the MARRIOTT Fairfield inn and suites. Oh......one last thing, on our second night I had to go to the second floor because the first floor ice machine was broken. As there was no ice bucket in our room, I had to bring my cooler. As I was getting just enough ice to keep my drinks cold, I believe it was the manager told me "NOT" to use the ice machine 🤔 Very unprofessional 😡. So....yeah, we won't be returning anytime soon. Check other reviews, then find yourself a well maintained hotel, because this RED ROOF is definitely not maintained 😵
This hotel is not well-maintained. Parts of the hallways smell like cigarette smoke or marijuana. In fact marijuana is the first thing I smelled while entering the building. My room currently smells like cigarettes (yes, it seemed something had been sprayed to mask the unpleasant smell.) There is a cigarette burn on one of the blankets. Though, this hotel is advertised as being “100% smoke-free.” I also just smelled marijuana, perhaps from the vents. The coffee area was messy, though I was not too concerned about that. This hotel doesn’t provide a free breakfast. The price is unreasonably high relative to the quality of services. There is what appears to be a bedbug. The hotel manager would not allow me to receive a refund. One may pay for close to $100 for a room per night, yet the quality is equivalent to that of a $20/night room. Yes, this may be considered a budget hotel, though there are plenty of well-maintained budget hotels that exist.
Looks can be deseving. When seeing the lobby I thought 💭 This is really nice and our children are gonna enjoy themselves. Boy was I wrong! I don't even know where to begin. Made reservations online for a week soon as we arrive got our key for the room my family and I were greeted by a roach 🪳. The towels were dingy with spots. The blankets had burnt holes fridge was dirty The outlet cover was half cracked. The claw marks on the bathroom door from animals and it smells like an animal kennel with cat piss smell ,trash mildew, and Old bleach. I am from the front desk of the roaches and the burn marks I was told that they would send maintenance down haven't seen maintenance from that day till this day housekeeping does not knock on the door to see if you need anything you have to physically run them down and no one speaks English they use their phone to interpret what to say. False advertisements there's no continental breakfast my kids thought that they were going to go swimming needless to say the pool is out of order along with the ice machine. They're very rude at the front desk they don't know how to speak to people. Everyday a few times in the day my key card had to be reactivated. We were killing roaches and flies all day every day. We were better off camping outdoors 😤. They had a few events that took place and the music was so loud you could feel the vibration. People running and screaming threw the hallway starting around 1am until about 4am. During checkout we asked about our points to get free nights you earned. (The stay should be free always) We were told that we had to ask to be signed up for the Rewards before paying for the room and give them the rewards number which is impossible when they (Receptiones) are supposed to give it to the customer. Then said that I wasn't on the rewards program. Which is Bull. I then logged in my account in front of her she then said that we don't have any points when you receive them when your supposed to receive them every day your there 12 days and not 1 point 😠. This place is full of 💩 and they respond to everyone's review the same especially about the bugs and the Pest Control Company they say they use. Please I'm warning you Don't Stop Here. You will definitely regret it!!
YOU WILL NEVER BE GIVEN YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. I was requested to delete my old review in exchange for my security deposit that I was promised would be refunded to me (and that I rightfully should have received) but here we are weeks later and I still have not been given it so I'm rewriting my deleted review. I was weary to stay here reading the reviews of others claiming they never got their security deposit back so I paid with a credit card in case they tried anything funny. Sure enough up on checking out about 2 weeks later AFTER A MAN DIED IN THE LOBBY I was never given my $100 security deposit because the evil woman at the front desk (who should be fired if this place has any business sense) said I checked out too late. I checked out less than an hour after check-out time and I was only paying $70/night there AFTER taxes. How dare she feel entitled to my security deposit. The only redeeming staff in that place was Solomon who promised to return my security deposit knowing I was in the right and he got in trouble for trying?? Who runs this kind of place? Red Roof needs to drop this establishment from their brand ASAP.
When we first arrived, my wife myself and our daughter. We requested extra towels because there was 3 of us & only wash clothes & towels for 2, I went to the front desk, he said give him 10-15 minutes. 1 hour 15 mins later I went back he gave me another excuse. I just stayed there, eventually he went out & came back with a extra towel stating he didn't have wash cloths. Next the sink backed up & he told me there was nothing he could do, once I started to get upset he managed to find a room directly across the hall the new room had a much better smell and appearance. The following day house keeping came at 9 am knocking on the door. When I told them there is 3 people we need wash clothes & towels for 3 they said ok we will come later. I told 2 house keeping staff members that we were leaving they said ok we will take care of you. We returned around 11pm the room hadn't been touched. I've stayed at hotels & motels all around the world and this was the most disrespectful night manager I've ever ran across.
I’ve never written a bad review before tonight. My family and I stopped here for the night to break up our long vacation drive. Immediately upon walking to our room we were harassed by drunk partiers in the hallway. The room was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stepped foot in. I wouldn’t even take off my shoes. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. The sheets were stained. We tried to suck it up and lay down to get at least some rest. There was loud thumping music playing well past 1:00 am. The final straw was a woman vomiting outside our window and the music increasing in volume. The kids were scared and preferred sleeping in the car. We checked in at midnight and checked out at 1:30 am. The staff on duty would only refund our pet deposit stating we had to call the manager to request a full refund. Avoid this place at all costs.
The room had some damage down to the walls. One of the lights in the bathroom wasn’t working when the front desk was notify, maintenance came to the room and banged on the light instead of replacing the bulb. The front desk employees were not very friendly while checking in. Made reservations one their website where it stated that we would get the AAA discount when we show our card at the desk. The lady at the desk told us that they can not do the discount and that we need to make them through AAA. They also charge a deposits even when a card was used which I have never had to pay at any other hotel we stayed at before. Probably would not be staying here again
The only thing good about this place is the location. There were cockroaches in the room. We told the front desk and she gave me my deposit back and didn't say a word. She didn't even want to check the room. I went through Expedia and they tried contacting the hotel and sent them an email. The hotel said they never received anything. I went back to talk to the manager and he didn't care and walked away from me. I'm still fighting for my money. I obviously didn't stay there. This is absolutely ridiculous. DON'T GO HERE

Great local resturant. Tortas are authentic and the salsa verde is very good. Try the chorizo torta or the asada tacos with everything on it. Will be back.

I stopped as I saw the flag and realized it was a Jamaican restaurant. I ordered rice and peas with cabbage and plantains. Delicious. Also had coconut drops and dumpling. This meal was amazing and very flavorful.Highly recommend this place
