Red Roof Inn & Suites Pensacola East - Milton - Hotel in Milton - 2672 Avalon Blvd, USA

Conveniently located by the I-10 corridor, I stayed at Red Roof Inn for threes days and the rooms were clean, they are pet friendly and my Basset Hound, Pollyanna enjoyed the stay there as much as I did! The rooms are clean! The staff are excellent! The shower was very nice and the beds were nice too, not all sponging and sagging like some hotels I have stayed at. The Red Roof Inn experience I had was a great one and because of that I will choose Red Roof Inn in the future when traveling! It’s such a great location too! It’s not too far from Pensacola, and yet not far from Milton and Pace either! Everything is conveniently within driving distance for lots of tourist destinations, and yet it’s not clogged up I. A traffic jammed city but really rather a country setting which is extraordinarily pleasant! They also have a Waffle House right by for breakfast in the morning if you want something more substantial than the also very convenient continental breakfast cafe they have in the area near the lobby which was also nice.

This stay was unsatisfactory. Our room smelled like wet dog and cigarettes.  The floors were dirty.  The "leather" couch was sticky. Excessive noise from the hallways. When I called the front desk about the issues, they were not concerned or bothered. Simply said "oh ill make a note of it". We attempted to do our laundry at night, The dryers are not working well, we had to reset the dryer 3 times and our clothes were still damp.  We only were washing our work clothes of 2 pants, 2 polo shirts, our socks and underwear. A very small load. In the morning after laying our work clothes out in the living room of our suite, they were still damp. I called the front desk to request a checkout of 11:30a or 12:00p, long enough to run our clothes ONE MORE TIME thru the dryer ( I've now paid to dry my clothes 4 times) And was very rudely told absolutely not. I explained the issue with the dryer and she told me "you can use the dryer but you need to get out of the room" Then housekeeping was banging on our door at 10:15am to tell us to leave, check out is at 11am. LITERALLY the rudest, more unhelpful staff. Room smells. It is dirty. The premises are dirty and questionable at best.  Definitely will never stay at another Red Roof Inn again. We travel for work and stay in hotels across the country the majority of the year. We choose this hotel because it was close to our work location. I absolutely regret it.

Noisy neighbor, that the staff was unable to handle, so only 1-2 hours of sleep. Lot of road noise if your on the front side of hotel. Tv channels are seriously lacking. Rooms are pretty clean, no problem there. Staff is good , just wish they could do more for noisy tenants.

I made the reservation, even told the person I booked with I had 3 cats. Instead of telling me they only accepted 2, they took my money, confirmed my reservation and when I got there, THEY cancelled, NOT me. They should have told me that to begin with. I DEMAND A REFUND. I even explained that my home is being renovated and I needed to leave for a few days and thry STILL didn't tell me about the only 2 pet policy. TEACH YOUR PEOPLE THEY NEED TO LET OTHERS KNOW THAT INFORMATION BEFORE TRAVEL HAS BEEN MADE AND ANTICIPATION OF A PLACE TO STAY WAS CANCELLED. WON'T EVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

Every staff member here made us feel like family and right at home, everyone from Cassie at the front desk and even the manager Daner. This place is literally to die for. Even after an extended stay of nearly two months, I can honestly say I’d kill to stay there again! If you’re traveling to Pensacola, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

My husband and I came to Pensacola to spend weekend with family for Family Reunion. We stayed at this Red Roof Inn for 2 nights. I made reservations online for 1st night and I called for reservations for 2nd night because I wasn’t sure about how to add another night to our stay. The clerk at the desk told us that we would need to come down next morning to check out and to check back in again so we did. When we got back from our Reunion we went to our room and we were locked out. We went to the front desk and waited for over 38 minutes for a clerk to show up. I went outside to swimming area and front of outside of hotel and there was no one in sight. We were in a big hurry to meet up with family but the clerk did not seem to care when she finally showed up. They had forgotten to give us another key to room. There was also other customers waiting to see clerk as well. I called the hotel phone several times but apparently they had not had a working phone line for awhile (what we were told) This was absolutely unexplainable!!!!!!! When we walked back in that night the clerk asked me and my husband if we had another room as well because someone had used our name to book one. We did NOT book another room for anyone else. The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Mildew on bathroom walls above shower. 3 Roaches in hallway. We definitely will not be staying here again.

As to where I was greeting by a very friendly attendant at night about my concerns about the bugs located in my room I was told I would hear back from management by the time we checked out and heard nothing. I’m not one to complain but the amount of roaches was concerning. The amount of water in the walk way and elevator was concerning also.

Pretty decent room for the price. Only complaint was the toilet was clogged on first use so had to call down but the front desk took care of it pretty quick. We found some little frogs on the windows that were cute though :)
