Red Roof Inn & Suites Hermitage - Featured Reviews (490)
I normally don’t write reviews, but I’m genuinely concerned for the safety of the guests here. I was previously a long term guest at this sorry excuse of a hotel, and the room across from 126 is covered in mold. The wall next to the bathroom is just half black mold. I was told by an EMPLOYEE that the owner knows of this situation, and doesn’t care enough to fix it. To my knowledge, this is not the only room in this condition, so please don’t risk it. Cheap rates are not worth risking you or your family’s health. Especially when you factor in the fact that the business in its entirety is neglected by the owner. I was told most of the sheets and blankets have holes in them (the owner won’t buy new ones), there’s probably about 10-15 fridges and microwaves throughout the whole building, one live in employee smokes marijuana out front and the grey haired live in employee reeks of alcohol 90% of the time, the staircases and lobby floor are completely neglected (appear not mopped in months), it’s just a total mess. I know people normally ignore reviews but PLEASE DO NOT. For your own safety please listen to this one. And to the Red Roof Inn company itself: I’d suggest pulling your name from this establishment if it somehow stays open. It’s only ruining your reputation.
It is absolutely crazy how this place is still in business being like this. As soon as i arrived at the hotel, I knew that something is wrong, even from the outside. Overgrown plants on the side of the building with flickering front lights, and only a handful of cars in the parking lot. I walked in to check in and I was immediately greeted by this unpleasant smell in the lobby. The whole interior looks like something that has been abondoned for a few years and there was a foul smell to it. (not gonna lie some abondoned places looks nicer than that). It really felt like the beginning of a horror movie. The room is worse. To list a few, the sink faucet is broken, electric outlet is broken, bathtub is old and moldy, and the room smells incredibly moldy. And the most unacceptable thing is that the bed is FULL of red stains! I usually don't really believe hotel ratings, but this one cannot get more real...
I would not recommend this place, it's extremely dirty. It feels very unsafe and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in ages. It's extremely run down and should not be open for business. The room they gave the lock was broken. It was a last minute book and I would never go back. The room next to me screamed and slammed their door all night. If I wasn't so tired and just paid 90 bucks for sleep I would have walked out. Needless to say I checked out super early. Very unsafe feeling
Brandi Fischer, the manager, has intimate relations with guests for free rooms. She also admitted on text messages to stealing a previous guests belongings out of their room and going through their personal belongings. The hotel itself is a complete flea bag and you may get bed bugs or other rodents if you stay there. Corporate does nothing about reviews or complaints so save your money and don't patronize Red Roof Inn, especially this one.
BED BUGS, MOLD, AND ROACHES. Please do not book this place due to pricing. I was locked out of my room for over an hour. After waiting on the front desk worker to finally arrive after 3 people were in the lobby waiting for a refund due to the bugs in the rooms. The hallways are fuming with drugs and smoke. My photos will show proof. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in!
Did not need key to unlock room. Had to use deadbolt and chain bolt for privacy. Bath tub had too many stains. Rest of room decent. At least no bugs. Heater was already on and said heat 86 degrees. Air coming out was cold. No refrigerator but at one time they had one as there was a hole in unit where one would fit. Gal at desk was arguing with her young son age about 3-4 who was challenged. He was throwing his game tablet and yelling at her. His dad was nearby but did nothing. It was only for 1 night thankfully.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Outside was run down, and landscape was overgrown and outside door lock was broken. The pool was shut down papers all over the windows and it was dirty and run down looking. Toilet was leaking in my room bed uncomfortable no breakfast or coffee
Stay here probably four or five years ago and this property has really gone downhill. There is a foul odor in the air and in my room the hair dryer was basically hanging by one screw from the wall and did not work and the tub didn't drain. Nothing felt clean. Would not recommend a stay.
I love this place. Fresh cut fries! And delicious juicy burgers. I get it 'all the way' which means all the toppings. If you are looking for a healthy lunch, this is not your place. If you are looking for the best burgers and fries a fast food pl
Depending on the atmosphere you're wanting, Bob Evans is a cozy place. The setting is a farmhouse, down-home aesthetic. The servers are friendly and attentive, which is one of the best aspects of this location. Although a chain restaurant, the food i
