This was a pleasant surprise! We came because I was really in the need for a nature walk, and the Forest Trail was really lovely. We got caught up halfway feeding the squirrels which was super fun. I’d definitely come back for a walk here if I was in the area.
A nice little gem in Madison Heights. Perfect for a walk or run with the 🐶. Fall colors are GLORIOUS! Friendly, informative staff in the nature center.
Lovely canopy of trees. Incredible fully accessible path. Serene and perfect. The storybook trail was so inventive and sweet. Perfect place to take small children. Well taken care of.
Beautiful and well kept trail that is very easily navigated. Lovely in the fall. Fun story along one trail for kids. Some art set up by the Detroit Institute of Art. In the way of wildlife, we saw squirrels and deer. There are also benches set along the trail.
A brisk Tuesday here beats a warm day in the office. Nice trails to explore and everything is marked so you know where you are and the length of your walk. Only downside is the sounds of traffic. Saw a blue Jay and tons of squirrels. There is a portapotty on site.
Beautiful and peaceful. For walking or bike riding. It's my go to place to have me time.
I've come here since I was 10 years old. It was a fun safe place to visit as a kid walking through their little forest watching squirrels play and enjoying the cool shade of their large trees. We cane here and learned about the animals around us. Good place to visit for any. It's enjoyable and relaxing.
I caught 3 raccoons in my backyard with a live trap so I let them go inside the nature center. That way they should have plenty of trees to make a nest and

Went a little crazy with the small plates this time. Luckily, I had the family to help. This place rocks. I haven't come across a dish that I do not like. When I want ramen, this is the place I am talking about. Beats any others in this area. S
Just played at their new location in Madison Heights (29380 John R Road) and it is even better than the old location!! It's tucked off the road just a little, but it's really worth checking out. They did a great job setting up the new place. It's
Comfortable microbrewery with a good selection of brew styles that revolves and changes. Even their self-admitted mistakes are really good. A regular stop for me to have a couple beers
I saw this place on TikTok and knew that I had to make the drive to try this for myself. I got the salmon sushi sandwich and it was loaded with fresh fish and crab salad. The sauces were amazing and of course the fried rice "bun" took it to a whole o
Cute place with great food. Everything I have tried was good, from sandwiches to crapes and sweets. The red berry cake was delicious, if you donât mind a bit of tartness. Eggs Benedict were fantastic. I also enjoy their lattes. Service is fast.
Havenât been to the Lantern in 30 years. Stopped in today and it was as good as I remembered. Had a square deep dish pizza and, of course, the crust was incredible. It was crisp and buttery, but still fluffy inside. The cheese and toppings were
We had our daighters graduation party at this park. We rented a pavilion for $100 which is a great deal. Comes with electric plugs. They checked with me when we got there to set up to make sure everything was good and we had a great time!
