Red Lobster - Seafood restaurant in Fort Gratiot Twp - NEXT TO BIRCHWOOD MALL, 4220 24th Ave, USA

I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time and I enjoyed my meal but my companion was surprised that they didn't remove the lobster carapace and it can be quite messy . He asked why it wasn't removed and the waitress candidly responded that it was a corporate policy not to remove it🤷‍♀️ . For a 40 dlls dish they should provide a glove, a lobster pick. 🦞or at least a moist towelette , I remember they used to give you moist towelettes but not anymore.

We were very thankful to find them open on Christmas day. We arrived just 15 minutes before their early close time. We were cheerfully greeted and quickly seated. While they were out of lobster and salmon, there were other great choices! Our waitress could have been curt and irritated but instead chose to serve us well and honor all our requests with a smile and great attitude. We had a great time there, and everyone's food was delicious! What a great way to prepare us for our tour of a neighborhood nearby that was well lit and decorated for Christmas! Thank you for a memorable experience!

First, we sat down for my birthday dinner with my in laws, no biscuits. My mother in law ordered a salad, didn't get that until dinner was served. Then I go to cut into my steak and it's shoe leather and burned on the side facing the plate. I brought it to the waitresses attention and after my in laws were done, my husband refused to eat until I received my food, 35 minutes later, we timed it, the manager went into the kitchen I finally got my food cooked the way it had asked, 10 more minutes later. The manager paid for my dinner and my father in law and husband said not good enough you ruined her dinner, and my husband's was ice cold waiting for me to be able to eat. The manager paid for his as well. Will not be going back.

The last couple of times I've come here I wasn't impressed. Because of this I haven't been to Red Lobster in years. This time the food was surprisingly good. The service however, was not. I understand a lot of places are still under staffed so I try to be patient when it takes a bit for a server to make their rounds. It took a good 10 minutes before our drink orders were even taken. But again I try to be patient. I'll admit to then taking longer than the server seemed to think I should have deciding on what I wanted. I was very indecisive that day. We had an appetizer which was brought out by a different staff member. Then our server seemed to either forget we existed or was deliberately ignoring us. When our food was brought out she said she'd be back with a drink refill and then the next time she came to our table was when we were basically done eating and only because I flagged her down after she checked on 4 other tables TWICE. She even looked annoyed that I was asking her for something. Originally I just wanted some lemon for my fish and the promised drink refill for my husband but at this time I was just ready to go so I just asked for a box. Maybe she forgot we were her table. Maybe she was sick that day and just trying to power through (she was really sweaty the last time we saw her). Or maybe she just didn't think we'd need much from her. I don't know. But it wasn't a pleasant experience. I was irritated most of the visit because I felt that I couldn't get her attention unless I shouted and I just wasn't going to do that. So I stewed in my irritation instead of enjoying my meal.

Very good service from Crystal. She was very accommodating and kind. Everyone was very helpful.

My husband and I haven’t dined in a red lobster in sometime. We decided to stop and give it a try. Food was really good. Our servers name was Crystal.She was very helpful in helping us order. She went above to make us feel welcome. It’s been along time since we’ve had a server this good. Thank you Marlene
