Red Lobster - Seafood restaurant in Montclair - 9345 Monte Vista Ave, USA

Gwyn is beautiful and awesome. What a sweetheart. She made my daughter feel so welcome and even went beyond to please her. She took the time to allow her to hold a live lobster.. Now the food is another story. The steak turned out a 10. My lobster was the Maine and Caribbean. The Maine was cooked perfect. The Caribbean was way over cooked. Same for my daughter. We had both ordered the same dish. My dad ordered the Maine lobster and it too was cooked good. I upgraded my side for claim chowder. It was gross. 5.99 upcharge and barely any claims and very runny. My crab cheese dip was no even close to crab. Just 2 small peices in the cheese. This new item is a fail. Way over priced. My dad asked for honey and the waitress never brought it out. So we asked another waitress and she brought one out. Look at the picture. How embarrassing this honey is unexceptable to serve to a guest. Very old and crystallized. Now I do have to say, the biscuits is a 10. Wow those little things are amazing. I heard they are served with butter, but we never received any.

Had a reservation for mothers Day. Was told that it would be a long wait since they did not have room. The wife had to ask for the manager and was able to accommodate us. We got a table. The food was pricey but delicious. Great for mothers Day. Very polite.

First time here...service was poor, except for April...she was amazing. For such a small location I expected quicker service, I didn't get my salad until my meal was delivered. The lemon drop martini was great and so was the bread. Not sure if I would come back. I rated the food 3 stars due to the quality and how expensive it was..hopefully they move April up to a server position, she checked on a few times as our server was MIA.

Hey everyone, Yuuumy so me and my sister had a girls night out and decided to go to Red Lobster in Montclair next to the Montclair place. We had a great time food was on point, customer service was there tending to anything we needed shrimp, calamari , brussel sprouts, broccoli, Lobster and crab it was all so good. This location is super quaint and chill and it's perfect it's summer, I'm thinking fish shrimp all the seafood constantly. So grab your family your significant other your gal pal and seafood it up

I got a good experience for being my first time there.. but not for my wife they served her the wrong plate and we didn't say nothing about cause it was going to take to long to get the right plate and we were hungry.

I've been coming to the Montclair location for a good 10 yrs or longer and unfortunately the service on getting your food has gone down. I don't come as often as before due to quality of food. I love the strawberry Margarita but on my last visit it had no taste and my server went to have another made but it took forever and after just having the Lobster/artichoke dip which was pretty good we decided to not order any food , canceled my Margarita and just go. My server did check on us but but it seem like they were short staff and this made service slow. I didn't see a bartender so not sure who was making the drinks. I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Came here with some gift cards the food was pretty good seasoned good, ordered surf and turf my steak was cooked as I ordered. The downside was service wasn't the greatest waited a long time before I even seen our waiter. I even ordered my appetizer on touch screens at my table due to wait. I don't blame the server though he had lots of tables and was doing the best he could. If the restaurant was staffed properly it would've been great, I did notice they were hiring so clearly they are trying to resolve the problem. I will go back in a month or so to see if things have improved.

Red Lobster has good food. Unfortunately, this location is shorthanded. No one wants to work nowadays. There were a lot of tables open, but I think only two servers were working. So we had to wait about 15 mins to get a table. Other than that, it's a good place. Friendly staff.
