Front desk staff were very friendly. Great location, lots of place to eat, little bar across the way was a blast. Rooms would have been perfect, but the shower was disappointing. There was hair in the tub, and behind the shower door was a large clump of hair. I get it, it happens. Just have your staff check a bit more thoroughly. Otherwise, I had a great time. Would come back again.

We pulled in late at about 11pm on a Monday. Desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, well laid out, and beautiful. Bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. Room and hotel amenities were awesome! Continental breakfast was good and appreciated. Worth staying for in the morning. Thank you Red Lion in Grants Pass!

I like to choose my hotels based on a lot of things like cleanliness, service rating, location, etc. The most important thing to me however is the breakfast options. Eating at the hotel means not having to go out, find a new place to eat, and spend extra money. So it is very important to me. I booked this hotel specifically because the pictures show waffle makers. So that means that I would be able to have a sustainable breakfast every morning while I was here. I even booked an extra day because I thought I could save extra money by not eating out so I could stay a day longer. Most hotels have like tiny muffins, old cereal, maybe yogurt, and fruit that tastes like it’s been refrigerated past the expiration date. So I went down for breakfast and no waffle makers. Just tiny muffins, fruit that tasted past its date, 2 types of cereal in a tube container, regular oatmeal packets with Kroger bags of brown sugar topping, and these tiny frozen jimmy John’s breakfast sandwiches. Look I get it, if you like those breakfast sandwiches that’s fine, a lot of people probably do, I just am not a fan of them. Also, I understand, it’s a hotel so what did I expect? Well waffles based off of the hotel photos. So out of curiosity I politely asked the hotel staff when the waffle makers stopped being a thing. They stated they they haven’t had them in over 3 years. Okay, so the pictures on their website are at least three years old. Yes, the hotel rooms and what not don’t really change so no biggy there right? I just don’t get the breakfast selection in the photos not being updated. I think that the breakfast selection is important to the people choosing a hotel especially people with kids or people who travel a lot. I choose this hotel for the waffle makers, again it may sound dumb but it matters to me. So I’m very disappointed that now I’m having to skip breakfast or pay to eat out. I’m here because my mothers dog passed away that she has had for 14 years and she isn’t handling it well, rightfully so as pets are truly loved family members, and the last thing I wanted to worry about was navigating another thing when I’m already dealing with so much. Again, I know it’s silly to some people, but this really disappointed me.

Positive: For the low price, we didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised. The room and grounds were clean, staff was courteous. Near a lot of food options, and easy to get to right off the highway. They even have complimentary bike rentals! Negative: ""

I chose this property based on location and price. ||Check in was something else and the reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars. The young woman had a lobby full of construction type men (8 guys who were painters of some sort) and there seemed to be some confusion on all of their reservations. Each person had to check in individually because they all had separate rooms. The issue that slowed the whole process down was that their employer was paying for all of their rooms and the credit card was not readily available until the boss arrived 20 minutes later. Honestly, I stood there for more than 20 minutes and the young woman was so overwhelmed that I was never acknowledged until I did get the opportunity to check in. I think she should have asked the men to step aside and check me in, but again, I don't think she ever noticed me in the lobby until I got to the counter.||My room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable.||Be mindful that the parking lot is small and awkward. If you're driving a larger vehicle, try to park on the main aisle so that you don't need to make the loop through the parking lot to get out. Two construction trucks had blocked the loop and it was not easy to back out of that mess. The blame falls on the guys who chose to park their big work trucks the way they did, not the hotel.||Lots of food opportunities in the vicinity, both fast food and sit down restaurants.||Breakfast was minimal, but enough to get started for the day.||Check out was fine.||Overall, I would stay here again. Very convenient to I-5.

It was a decent hotel. We were there for a few days. One thing I did like was the beds. We had just got back from a cruise and these beds were amazing! What wasn’t great was the pool it was cold and the “hot tub” was cold!? Please fix this! We were here on vacation. But, hey, we enjoyed our stay non the less! PS It’s also dog friendly.

We booked this pet friendly room last minute and it turned out to be a great stay. Price was very reasonable even with the additional pet fee. They could make improvements by having a clearly marked dedicated pet area. We just walked our dog around the parking lot looking for some dirt and carrying our own doggie bags. This is a new hotel and it shows. Everything is kept up and the rooms were spotless. Beds were comfortable and room had vinyl flooring. The breakfast was the typical cereal, sweet rolls, breads, waffles. Microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, coffee and juice and had a nice bright clean eating area. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is located in the northern part of Grants Pass in what felt like a safe area and was still close to everything including a giant In and Out burgers just a block away. We will definitely be back.

Lots of plugs and ports, room was nice and lots of places nearby you can walk to. Fridge and microwave.||Strange stair configuration--you go up and down inside the halls. Little bottles of shampoo etc and the pool is fairly nice but gets deep quickly.
