Red Lion Inn & Suites Butte - Featured Reviews (727)
Best hotel to stay in Butte MT! We were greeted by Ali upon arriving and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in the hotel and was accommodating to our cat and dog. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was also served.
Overall felt like a great deal staying at this hotel, thank you so much to Ali and staff for being so friendly, helpful and making us feel welcome!
For the price.... not recommending. There's no air conditioning or fans in the rooms. It felt very stuffy. We couldn't open the windows because of the wild fire smoke. We had two rooms, requested fans, or some way to cool the rooms down... they only had a single box fan that was filthy.... like nasty. I'm not sure about every room... but our beds were hard, and you could feel the springs. The slightest movement made the whole bed move... so they must be very old.
Also, and this isn't just this place, can someone explain to me why hotels use services like Expedia and the like? The price here was so much higher($50 a night higher) if you booked right through the Red Lion vs. booking through a third-party service. Don't they lose money then and on top of that, have to pay the third party service?.... someone, please explain this to me.
Upon checking in the hotel reeked of cigarettes. We had a ton of issues with our rooms upon checking in. We worked with the manager and he did try to fix everything but the rooms were really bad. He also had a conversation with his employee right in front of us about how he loaned the guy 300 dollars and because of this, he had to do laundry that night because the guy hadn't paid him back yet.
My mother/father's room was a bed on the ground, no box spring.
Their room had no air-conditioning, this was never fixed even as the manager was telling us it was just "frozen" from the last customers leaving it on.
Our room smelled like feet, it was horrible.
We ordered 2 queen beds, they were not queens, they were twins.
About 6am I woke up to the entire room smelling like cigarettes, as if people were smoking right below us.
They truck stop nearby had a cashier that was high to the gills on speed at the register.
The entire building is being rented out by construction workers so the manager made it a point to tell us about all the business they get.
Spend a little extra and treat yourself better. You'll regret going cheap here.
This hotel is in a very convenient location. It is next to a truck stop so lights outside are always on, but noise outside is kept to minimum. The rooms were very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Anytime we needed anything, they had it to us within 5 minutes. There are no fridges in the rooms, but when we asked about one they brought us one right up immediately. The breakfast is a basic continental with bagels, cereal, eggs, biscuits, and waffles. Great to just grab and go! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
The lobby and hallways were disgusting, not very clean at all. The room itself was not too bad, better than expected. Honestly, I was ready to leave when we walked in. It did smell of smoke in the main areas, but our room was fine as far as smell goes. We just need a place to stay while traveling that was pet friendly and easy on and off the highway. Luckily no carpet in our room we had hardwood floors, I suspect because we have a dog. Overall I would say outside and common areas.. not clean.. rooms moderately clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, we opted to not eat the breakfast. Definetly wouldn’t pay what they are charging to stay here again.. overpriced for what it is.
Great little place to stay, especially if you want to go to Butte and or spend time nearby. It is right next to the gas station, so there are lights on all night, but traffic and noise is very low. The room is very clear, with a good thermostat. The management was very thoughtful and quick about everything. They genuinely care about how your stay is. The breakfast was a basic continental with waffles, but it had all the toppings to make it to your preference. The only thing they don't have in the hotel room is a fridge, and there was only one tiny trash can in our room. Otherwise it was a great place, great location, and central to all the things we did. I would recommend!
Ali, at the front desk helped me get a room. He was very friendly and accommodating. My room was very clean and quiet, also very comfortable. I booked a second night and Ali checked to make sure I was pleased with my room.
Very friendly, clean, comfortable and I would highly recommend if you are in the area!!
Overall this place is perfect for what you pay for. The staff we met was all very nice. We got in pretty late and the man at the front desk was very courteous and kind. He was awesome! The rooms felt pretty clean and there was a little bit of wear, but not any more than was expected. The place is perfect for those of us traveling from point A to point B who need a night's rest in between.
Super clean rooms, excellent breakfast buffet, nice pool and hot tub, and a staff that went above and beyond doting on my kids at breakfast. So family friendly. The guest laundry was clean, easy to use, and reasonably priced. Front desk staff was so
Im originally a Butte local that moved away to CA (the irony I know) but, I come back home frequently to visit friends and family. The Miners Hotel is my favorite spot to stay when I want my own space from all the running around that comes from visit
Extremely clean room. Extremely quiet. Extremely comfortable bed. Marvelous lobby. Free parking. Would have been even better had there been a restaurant, or had the bar been open (we were there on a Tuesday), but this ainât no perfect world. Butte
Everything was so perfect. Room was 100 %. Breakfast area was nice and kept-up. But I enjoyed the ð¥ computer desk in the lobby, best. There were paper, envelopes, scissors, etc. -- everything you needed for office space
Beautiful place, just walking in did wonders for my nervous system. Enoch is a bright light and Butte is very lucky him here. Inspiring art, healing stones, peaceful plant waves. Thank you for the special visit.
Visited here just before going to watch a Montana Tech football game to pick up a cap. Such great staff! Iâll be representing the team back here in the UK, ha! Honestly the hospitality was fantastic, great store, canât recommend it enough. Lookin
