the rooms were okay except for the fact my wife and I woke up and the shower would not produce any hot water at all no matter what we tried. I called the front office and apparently they couldn't do anything about it, not even offer a different room. Location is pretty cool, however the homeless wondering around your vehicles is disconcerting. I was told to my face by the girl in the office I would be compensated by giving me refund on my room or at least a % off. Well, after this girl lied strait to my face saying that it had been done, it was not. this place is a total rip off with liars for employees, and a lobby that smell like vomit and B.O mixed together. I would recommend going else where, even though the hotels in this town are limited. You would be better off sleeping in your car than to stay at this place. What a joke of a hotel and terrible staff.

Fantastic location. Hotel needs some love but was pretty clean, we had a dog friendly room. I have a disability and the giant tall bed was burdensome, but not for the Lab.😅 I did very much appreciate the double sheeting and the 4 king pillows. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony and we watched seals or river otter. The ladies at the desk were great. Had a sunny day and the location was so great it made for the perfect quick getaway.

Positive: The staff was very warming and comforting when we arrived cold and tired. Hotel employee at the front desk, was easy to talk with about the area and a few extra items to make our stay feel better. We recommend the hotel to everyone and will return ou Negative: I would have prefered a few more low carb choices at the breakfast buffet such as plain yogurt or cottage cheese although it is delicious with hot coffee and boiled egg.

I stayed here for a work trip. Great location with easy access to the harbor and local shops and restaurants. The room was clean with a modern decor. Bathroom tile was dated, but bathroom was also clean. The issue with my stay was a lack of internet access (which I needed for work). This made my stay less than ideal. I've never stayed in a hotel before where I was unable to connect to the wifi. The response from the hotel staff was essentially "we're sorry, but there's nothing we can do" and I frankly expected more in the way of customer service to get the issue resolved.

We were there while our home was being repaired, for two months! The rooms were immaculate and well appointed; we had two queen beds, a desk, a large TV that we didn't use, along with the standard microwave and tiny refrigerator. It's amazing how one learns to prepare a hot meal using only water in the single-cup coffee maker, and the two appliances above. We kept the "do not disturb" sign out mostly, as we didn't need bedding or towels fresh daily, but housekeeping was kind and helpful when we did need something. As for the location... a ground floor room, on the waterfront, adjacent to the Olympic Discovery Trail, with all the sounds of the harbor, the boats and ships, waves lapping at the beach, oh my word it was nice.

It's puzzling why this property doesn't get better reviews although its vast size may likely play against it. Staff are friendly, competent and appear to stick around (the head facility tech has clearly been with the company for a long while). Responsiveness is great, attached restaurant is great in the support role and very good when compared to outside venues. The waterside deluxe rooms are well maintained and clean.||||I suppose the downside in terms of impressions is this is a well-used, very large hotel built with an eye towards the small business convention crowd. It is also very mature, and it shows around the edges. Overall, a room with a waterfront view is great value to anyone with even a passing interest in the regional maritime industry. Boats and ships of all types ply the waters and with a set of binoculars and a ship id app one can literally spend hours entertained by the constant activity in this bustling harbor.

We had an enjoyable one night stay at the hotel. It's conveniently located close to Olympic National Park. Our room was spacious and clean. Our bed was comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities we needed. We did not have the complimentary breakfast but it smelled delicious. We totally enjoyed meeting their number one greeted, their cat! I believe his name is Douglas and it was a delight to interact with him during check in/out. His non acknowledgement of us was adorable. It was refreshing to see a "touch of home" at this place. I recommend this place for the convenience and reminder of our pets!

Great location so you can get in line to the National Park entrance early because the park limits the number of cars admitted per day. Breakfast is typical hotel continental faire. Pet-friendly, so if you are not, then you probably will not want to stay here. We checked in late Saturday of Labor Day weekend with no problems. Rooms are older but the hotel is kept up; no foul odors or stains. Bathroom relatively clean. Some hair in shower, but I find this even in 5 star hotels. Basic amenities in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable but small. We literally slept and left again. Price was very high but expected for the location and holiday weekend. We would stay again.
