Dine-in was a poor idea for us. The focus of activity was at take-out. There was only 1 front area staff and she was overwhelmed by take out customers picking up their order and she kept answering the phone to take new orders. We sat in the booth for a long time and dinner was a long process without a dedicated waitress. I remember the food and portions were better. It's not the same. Obviously people like picking up take-out.
First time visit today. Old place that needs a good clean and updating. The positive is they offer lunch specials every day of the week. Service was rushed and lady didn't have much personality. I'm used to fried rice that has pieces of egg and veggies in it... theirs did not. I asked for my tofu to be extra crispy and it was soggy. Would I come back...maybe...but would bot be in a rush to do so as Panda Express has better tasting food.
Food looks good. Too bad the lady serving the dining room is rude. Read the other reviews. Many complaints about the rude customer service. If I'm dining out, I expect an enjoyable experience all around. This place is not it.
Pretty good take out. I thought the portions were generous and food was pretty legit. Their take out is very efficient. You call in and they are ready within 15 minutes or so. Everything was pretty tasty and not too oily. During covid times, they seem to have a pretty organized system where you can stand outside and wait. There isn't too much overcrowding because they blockade where customers can stand. I would come here again.
Stopped by for lunch, we had the Brocolli Beef and Orange Chicken of the lunch menu. It came with soup, rice and an egg roll. We also ordered chicken chow mein. The food and the service was good.
So far one of the better places I have found for Chinese food in the area.
Brand new Sweet _Sour Vegan Chicken and Orange Vegan chicken... OMG GOOD!!!
It's no New Shanghai in Lake Forest! That remains our #1 always. This was ok. Doing some things fairly well, but not amazing. Ok flavors, but I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the meat. Cream cheese wontons had little flavor. Paper wrapped chicken had no flavor and was questionable as it if it was completely cooked inside. Teo main dishes tasted very similar though claimed to be different sauces. Busy and understaffed, so seemed to be in a hurry. We aren't planning to return since it's at least a $50 dinner just for the three of us. Photos of House crispy beef, orange chicken, paper wrapped chicken, and cream cheese wontons
came to Trim 7 months ago. I had just gotten clearance from my doctor to workout again after having my son. The staff was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about their clients and takes time to know everyone
