Couldn't complain about the atmosphere or service. Both decent. The food was the problem for us and I can't really say it was bad. I think for the type of restaurant it appeared to us we just expected a more diverse menu and on top of that everything that each one of us had was just very plain. The baked spaghetti I had just was plain, nothing out of the ordinary, the fish and chips nothing bad about them just wasn't the type of batter we like.. so it was more that I think everything just wasn't to our taste but out of four people you just would have thought that one of us would have enjoyed our meal 😕.

The bread and pizza were amazing! The pot roast is the best I ever had, sorry grandma if you see this yours is now second best.

I always have the best food here and the bread is AWESOME!!!! Love this place, not honestly any higher in price than Leo's is anymore. Love love love the gazpacho on the summer, can't wait for it to come back next year!!!

Huge shoutout to Rob! His service was outstanding last night. My husband and I came in at 7:45pm unsure if they would still take us because we didn’t realize they close at 8pm until we walked up to the door. Rob assured us we were good to come in and told us to take our time and relax and that even if we came at 8 on the dot that he still would’ve taken us.He even helped us choose what to get off the menu when we were being indecisive and gave us extra bread to take home when we mentioned how much we loved it. This was our first time here and we definitely plan to come back. Not only was the service great, but the food & atmosphere was as well. Thank you Red Knapps!!

Came on a Friday afternoon after contemplating the myriad of dining options in the area. Was greeted and seated promptly in one of the comfy booths. Soon our server Rob showed to take our libation order selected from the many craft beers on tap. He was friendly, efficient and a good conversationalist. Started out with the Calamari which was tender, nicely coated and came with a tasty dipping sauce. Our entrees included a crab stuffed flounder and the raviolis which we both pronounced as excellent. Even though the restaurant progressively got busier it was nice you could actually hear each other unlike some other local establishments. Can't really understand some of the low reviews, obviously a place in business over 70 years old has to be doing something right. Sure some of our dining experiences may have had a few hiccups on the way, but they were promptly addressed to our satisfaction. Obviously if you would have witnessed the amount of carry out going out of there many diners apparently are more than happy to patronize Knapps for a solid dining experience. We will be back!

Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was everything expected and festive on a Friday night. Fish n chips was everything it should be. My salad: Caribbean chicken salad didn't have much flavor from the jerk seasoning. My bad was not asking questions about it before ordering. I expected a sauce or paste on the meat but it was just dusted with a powdered jerk. The flavor did build once I was well into the salad. On the VERY positive side, I left my debit card on the table and didn't notice it was missing until morning. They saved me the trouble of replacing the card!

Looking forward to going back. Delicious Pizza, loaded toppings and filling!! Great atmosphere. Soda perfectly made carbonation and flavor wise, ice crunchable for those who love to crunch ice. Lol

Pizza is on our order every time, it’s so good can’t order anything else! Our waitress Sophia is always great! Whether it’s date night, kids night, or pizza take out, this is the spot!
