We absolutely loved our stay with Paul and Sharon at The Red Gate Inn. We stayed 2 nights at the Inn while attending the Texas Revolution Music Festival in historic downtown McKinney. The location was perfect to walk to the festival. A sign on the gate says “arrive as guests, and leave as friends”. This is exactly how Paul and Sharon make you feel. It’s a very lovely property with so much charm. Very happy with our choice to stay at The Red Gate Inn.
Paul and Sharon are amazing hosts. The Red Gate Inn deserves higher than 5/5. Top notch amenities. They welcomed us as family/ friends and were a delight to visit with. They also give guests plenty of space and privacy to enjoy and explore the grounds with a beautiful courtyard and pool/hot tub area, multiple outdoor sitting areas, a lovely front porch, and the wonderful antiques and many sitting areas inside the Inn as well. The history and tour of the home and antiques was very interesting. There was something unique and interesting around every corner inside and outside the Inn. The Desert Rose room was perfect for our stay. It was very spacious and the large en-suite bathroom was AMAZING! The lavender bubble bath, soaking tub and huge shower was perfect after a long travel day. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. Paul and Sharon made us a wonderful breakfast including eggs with topping options, sausage, a fresh fruit bowl, AND pastry muffins. Along with the special touch of a formal place setting of glasses, plates, and utensils. They offer several coffee, tea, and refreshment options. Amazing and wonderful! The Red Gate Inn is truly a gem but Sharon and Paul put it over the top. They are the epitome of southern hospitality and go above and beyond to help all their guests feel at home and have a perfect experience! Thank you both for everything. If our travels bring us back to McKinney in the future we will DEFINITELY be back!!
Charming historic home in quaint neighborhood. Loved all the family photos. Paul and Sharon were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Easy short walk to the charming town with delicious restaurants, as well as close by to Dallas. Wonderful location for a wedding and/or family event.
I booked, but had to cancel the very next day and was charged $146.34 just to book. This should be an easy transaction to fix but still waiting. Sent screen shots of card fee charged and cancellation email but no refund yet Still waiting for my refund. Do not book if you aren't sure of your plans!
Had the most fabulous NYE weekend at Red Gate Inn B&B! Beautifully charming surroundings, cozy fireplace and amazing hospitality. Great comfort food for breakfast with wonderful hosts! Made ourselves at home, visited historic downtown McKinney square and came back to cookout in the backyard for a holiday feast! Do yourself a favor and book a getaway! Can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer and hang out by the pool
Great place to have a wedding. It was so perfect. Turned out to be a beautiful day for our outside backyard wedding and reception. We reserved the bed and breakfast for 4 days and it made our event stress free and so convenient. The beds were comfortable and even though it was an older house the upgrades they have done with the showers and kitchen it was just beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing about our big day. Paul was also so accommodating and was there to help with anything we needed. I can’t wait to celebrate our anniversaries there.
My husband and I had the sweetest visit to the Red Gate Inn and downtown McKinney. ||Paul and Sharon welcomed us to their beautiful B&B, we got settled in our gorgeous and comfortable room, and then we walked the short walk to downtown McKinney.||We enjoyed the shops and a delicious dinner at Rick's and then came back to the B&B for a good nights sleep.||Breakfast in the morning was delicious.||We felt very pampered the entire visit.||After just a short visit we would call the owners, Paul and Sharon, friends. They are just those kind of people. People that open their hearts and home to you and make you feel like family!
We stayed one night and really enjoyed the experience. The home and property are beautiful and cozy. It's very close to downtown and a short drive to other areas in McKinney. The breakfast was tasty and the hosts were very accommodating.
I love everything about this place:
1. The coaches take learning the techniques very seriously! They show it and help with individual tips how to atchieve best personal results.
2. The schedule is super flexible and I adore the 15 min time break in b
ETA: Kelsey is an amazing trainer! She's knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. She's helped me feel better, and stronger and more comfortable in my body since I started working out with her. There is zero judgement and it's a great place to work
