The owner/hostess Dawn was extraordinarily kind and helpful where the world has grown quite cold. Breakfast was simply divine. Love is in the details in every inch of this Inn. I will always treasure my time from the heart at this home away from home. Very welcoming, cozy, serene and clean. I stayed in the Heritage Tea Room, surrounded by roses, super comfortable bed and pillows. Teas, coffees, water and snacks right outside the door. A magical garden in the back with chimes swaying in the breeze. Top notch service!
Dawn was an amazing and welcoming host! The house is beautiful clean and cozy. We had a wonderful nights sleep waking up to a delicious home cooked breakfast!
The house is amazing, but not as amazing as our hostess Dawn. My husband I have been B&B fans for a while now, but we have never had such a considerate hostess and wonderful stay as we did at Red Forest. Dawn wants you to enjoy the house, and she is very welcoming and takes the time to talk with you about the sites that are in the area. Many other places just hand you a brochure and that's it, while Dawn sits and talks to you. Her breakfasts were delicious and she even asks about food preferences, which is really nice. We appreciated every bit of the experience and we hope to return sometime.
A wonderful peaceful stay. The hostess Dawn was very accommodating and a joyful part of my stay. Private baths and very comfortable bed and pillows. A great place to stay and relax! I stayed as part of a respite group of special needs Mothers and it was a great weekend.
Sent my parents to the Red Forest for their 30th Anniversary. They couldn't have been happier with the experience they got. Dawn is an absolute treasure, her Bed and Breakfast is the epitome of comfort and peace, and she made their special weekend all the more amazing with her kind gestures and cooking. She goes above and beyond for all her guests, because that's the kind of person she is, above and beyond what anyone could expect or want. Go to the Red Forest, you will not be disappointed!
Dawn is hostess extraordinaire, providing one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we have ever experienced. The mansion itself is so tastefully decorated throughout. Our room was majestic and lovely, with a big bathtub in the adjoining bathroom. The bed was heaven, the extra touches included snacks and treats, a guest refrigerator with complimentary beverages, and other amenities too numerous to mention. The wonderful breakfasts were scrumptious. These are all evidence of a proprietor whose desire is to pamper and warmly accommodate her guests. Dawn is a doll who obviously enjoys people, and you will not find a better B&B anywhere!
Stayed two nights at the Red Forest B&B. The host, Dawn, was wonderful. She was welcoming, informative about local things to see and do, and made a delicious breakfast. The B&B itself is thoughtfully appointed with all needs anticipated and attended to. The decor is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, extremely clean, and tasteful. Very enjoyable, and looking forward to a return visit.
This is the most cozy, friendliest, inviting B&B around. Dawn is an excellent host who made us feel right at home. From lounging in front of the fireplace, to playing cribbage in the sitting room, to eating an amazingly delicious breakfast in the dining room - this place is fantastic. I would definitely stay again.
This is an AWESOME toy store!!! They have lots of toys for babies and toddlers along the first wall, and lots of books and work books. There is a huge variety of toys like marbles and ramps, magnetic toys, dart boards, beads and strings, toy vehicles
We ate here in September of 2023 on a trip to Two Rivers. The food was so good we've been considering the drive up from Illinois multiple times since!! No doubt it will be a regular stop on our way past on several future trips.
Stopped in to purchase mum plants and pumpkins. The woman that waited on me was very helpful and pleasant. Helped me by loading my car. Very pleased with my purchase.
Love this place didn't have much time to hang out but I gotta tell you. I enjoyed every minute I was there. Thanks guys for starting this up. Hopefully you guys will be here for many mini mini years

This is a super cool lighthouse. I have not been inside but from what I can see it looks pretty nice. It is located very close to the beach in a clearing in the woods. I really admire its design. The skinny supports are stylistically very interesting
