Red Feather Lounge - American restaurant in Boise - 246 N 8th St, USA

This experience was deserving of a 4 due to how slow the service was… BUT the food, drink, and atmosphere was so outstanding.. I don’t have it in me to punish the place for being busy and understaffed.. The wagyu (med rare) was literally as soft as butter. The Cardamommy (OF upgrade) was tremendous. Highly recommend this spot in DT Boise (it is hidden amongst a ton of good restaurant options)

Went here for anniversary dinner and it was lovely. The focaccia appetizer with fresh butter was delicious, probably the best I’ve ever had. Four stars instead of five because the gnocchi was over cooked and had a bit of a smokey taste, but otherwise was good. Not too expensive for a romantic restaurant. Many vegetarian options.

Delicious food and lovely ambiance (especially upstairs by the wine case). We started with appetizers (my favorite was the paté) and ended with dessert and a wonderful port.

We went for late night dinner and it was better than expected. We ordered Shishito pepper, fries, and ravioli (with prawns). It was all delicious and confirmed by the fact that everything was locally sourced, which is not typical of bars/lounges. Made doubly amazing by its neighboring bar with 30+ beers on tap so basically an endless beer selection to choose from. Lastly, our server Joshua was warm, attentive, and helpful. We’re visiting from out of state for a week, and Joshua was the best server we’ve had all week!

A beautiful and romantic spot in the centre, we had an inside table right by the open window, so we can watch all that's happening. The cauliflower starter was off the charts, a simple ingredient made into something special. Then followed by the duck - delicious.

Another wonderful night at the Red Feather! Delicious food, incredible service, and a private environment. They definitely read the reservation notes and gave us a table upstairs where it was quieter and the hostess knew we had a shellfish allergy at the table. Josh was our waiter and he could not be more delightful- definitely the type of person that makes you want to become a regular at a restaurant because you know he will take great care of you. Food was amazing- I had the halibut (perfectly cooked and the lemon coulis was well paired) and the pecan bread pudding which still makes my mouth water. All four of us at the table were impressed with our meals, the attention to detail, and the great care we were given. Will definitely return (for all the reasons above) and continue to book important business dinners here (and request Josh as a waiter) because I have full trust in their abilities!

My husband and I came here to celebrate a special occasion. We were blown away by the quality of the food and drinks. Our server Josh was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He helped make tonight even more special. Highly recommend.

I ordered Kouing-amman with a side of berries and asked for maple syrup and it was a top mix! 😍 Very yummy! For drinks l opted for a Venetian Mimosa to get myself a taste of the Mediterranean again. Reasonable prices and varied menu So far my best brunch experience in Boise!!❤️❤️ thanks to all the people behind🙏🏻
