Had a delicious dinner tonight at The Red Door. We started with smoky Old Fashioneds which came out with wooden covers that released the wonderful wood smoke when removed. Perfect fall spirits to start the evening! We then enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates that were prepared perfectly. I ordered the gyro for my entree and it was tender and delicious! And because we had mentioned it was our anniversary when we made the reservation, we received a delightful baklava for dessert! Our server, Rachael was attentive and extremely helpful and made our dinner a wonderful experience. We’ll be back soon!
Took my 20 year old son for lunch. Happy I can do that now that the law passed. Otherwise I would have had to wait u til he turned 21. He got the charred pepperoni which he loved. I got a create my own and it was delicious! The salad, oh my gawd, yummy! We will definitely be back. I wished I could talk my fiance into going for a date night but after telling him about it he said no way. He's not a people person and the seats are too close for him!

Had a wonderful dinner! Started with the alluring smoky old fashioned and the delicious date appetizers. The salmon was served with seasonal vegetables and slivered almonds on a bed of fluffy couscous. Our server, Rachael was outstanding!
The Red Door is PHENOMENAL!! Location is right downtown in LaPorte. The drinks are beyond great! Food was extraordinary! When you go, the Bacon Wrapped Dates are a MUST!! And the Wood Fired Pizzas are incredible! This is a NOT TO BE MISSED Restaurant! Our amazing waitress, Rachel, was the delightful Cherry on Top!!
The Red Door is great experience all around! The food was on point! The staff was very kind and knowledgeable on all menu items. The drinks are all custom and made right in front of you with ingredients straight from the garden! I can't say enough great things about The Red Door In LaPorte, IN! Def will be a return customer!
Beautiful yet simplistic interior. The outdoor dining area is beautiful as well, but it was raining, so we ate inside. Our server was terrific. We loved talking with her. My husband and I decided to get the 2 for $45. We chose the spinach and apple salad, wood fired salmon entree, and the burrata and pepperoni with hot honey pizza. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We can't wait to come back and try something else.
Had lunch there yesterday and it was wonderful. Rachel was very attentive. The beet salad with shrimp added was as beautiful as it was delicious. My friend enjoyed her spinach salad with wood fired chicken. Love the urban-rustic style. Will be back to try the pizza!

Really nice park. Huge lake and walking trail. Tried fishing for a few days and didn't catch anything. Lots of turtles though. Pine lake was better for fishing.
