Apparently this is one of Eastern Oregon's best kept secrets. We camped there over Labor Day weekend and we are camping there again this weekend. There are 10 RV camp sites and several tent sites, there were at least two campsites open the entire weekend. The place is well kept, the bathrooms are clean, and the camp hosts are awesome. It's called Red Bridge State Park and is about 20 minutes from La Grande.
A tranquil park along the Grande Ronde river. The river by mid summer is safe for wading, but parents definitely need to watch young children CAREFULLY at ALL times. The park closes in October but you can still leave your car outside the gate and enjoy a fun walk. The cottonwood trees are magnificent!
Great hidden gem of a spot. Tent camping area is large but you could grab an RV spot to if you wanted. Clean flushing toilets. Great river access
Loved it ❤️. Beautiful peaceful park for 🏕️ camping, picnic or just a walk. Super tall 🌲's very majestic. Nice shallow river running through it ,perfect for kids and 🐕's to play in.
Love, love. The camp host was very nice. He kept all of the campsites and surrounding area watered and green. There are some issues with gophers that the could deal with. I fould some really deep holes that could cause alot of pain should someone not see it and walk over it.
Very quiet, next to the river, 10 RV spots, plenty of tent and day use area, no cell or electricity,
What a great little campground! The bathrooms were clean, and the grounds well kept. The hosts were very nice as well. Three deer came out at dusk, and it was very pleasant sitting by the Grand Ronde river as the sun was setting. 70 degrees during the day turned to 31 at night, but the air was crisp and clean. It was warm in the camper all the same. Traffic on the road next to the camp died down about dark, and it was quiet all night. Highly recommend this place in good weather at this time of year (September).
Beautiful park, well cared for. The camphost, Suzanne, is very friendly and helpful.
We were passing through La Grande. Since not many places were open on Saturday evening, we ended up at "Side A Brewing."
It was a very busy time for them, and despite the wait, I wanted to give them 5 stars for their outstanding customer service, th
What a neat place! What you expect in a bowling alley, but then just a super cool building and design. My young kids had a lot of fun running around and messing with arcade games while the older kids bowled. Stairs to the lanes, and all the way at th
So many great times and wonderful family memories made here. We've been going to the La Grande Drive Inn for at least 22 yrs now. I brought my kids and a countless number of their friends every summer all thru their childhood, and now I've been lucky
Genuine Italian restaurant with a large menu and wine at reasonable prices.
Great service. The meatballs were great as was the fish and chips. My wife's mushrooms were excellent but too many to finish.
Great meal.
Great movie saw indiana Jones 5.. spent al.ost $40 with admission $19.75 and #1 combo 2 large drinks and lg popcorn for $16.75..hate the prices though..I guess considering a pretty good deal for 2 people
Lovely service, even though we walked in an hour to close. I had a delicious mushroom swiss burger, Mom had a French dip, and Dad ordered a finger steak basket, all of which were wonderful. Glad to see a place like this exists in La Grande, we'll def
