Everything is in full bloom right now! There are campsites with plenty of shade, restrooms, hiking trails and it's right along the Sacramento River. This is my spot when I need a break from everyday life. 🌺
Fabulous one night stop after a long and HOT day of traveling down I5. I reserved a site 2 nights prior but when we got there, someone was parked and all hooked up in our site. Luckily there were several others available in a crunch! Nice and clean, showers (coin op) and restrooms on site. Although I didn't use those facilities, if they're anything kike the rest of the campground they're probably pretty clean too! Would definitely come back in the future!
The spots are nice and big! The park was well kept. The bathrooms are mostly clean. They have coin showers but there's nowhere to get quarters there. So make sure to bring your own for showers!
The Sacramento Discovery garden was so beautiful. The volunteers at the plant sale were so KIND! I recommend a stroll through the garden If you have an appreciation for such things.
Its clean and well kept. I didn't see any homeless population either. I walked the trails and it was a nice walk. Seems like a good place to have gatherings. Never hurts that it's next to the river
Took a short walk with my dog along the paved trail. Will come back for biking and when it’s cooler. I can imagine how amazing it would be if Lake Red Bluff was still here.
I had the best time ever with family and friend. My first time floating down the river AMAZING!!
No black water disposal, but has electrical hookups and water hookups. Would have been decent if there weren't so many homeless people there in wrecked rvs, standing in the road in the middle of the night screaming, blaring music, looking like zombies. Pretty normal thing there, stayed roughly 2 months while in the area.
