Real Hacienda#3 - Mexican restaurant in Terre Haute - 2141 IN-46, USA

There are a lot of these restaurants in town and the food is very similar but this location is the most convenient for people on the east side. The service is very fast. I think it’s probably quicker to eat here than some fast food places.

Saturday night dinner at 7:30 pm. Not busy. Had spicy chicken nachos and a tossed salad. First no peppers on nachos then it returned with orange water on the plate. The tortilla chips were soggy! It was quite nasty, Bummer!

My wife and I love Real Hacienda. She got taco salad real with steak. I got the El Presidente. We love this place and eat there when we can.

The food was decent. It took quite a while after we’d gotten there for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. Our food came out separately though we ordered at the same time. We were never offered drink refills. One of the workers thought it was karaoke and kept singing along to the pipes in music. We weren’t overly impressed.

If give zero if I could. Found hair iny food after 4 bits. Grossed us all out so no one ate! Charged for all except food hair was in. We usually do not eat here thought we would try it and man that was a mistake. Employee and cashier were talking in Spanish as they checked us out...sure it was about us complaining. Rude to speak in another language with a unsatisfied customer!! Horrible place will never go there again. Menus had sticky stuff on them and dried food...place is gross!!!

Very fast and friendly service. My son couldn't decide what he wanted so the waiter suggested one of their popular dishes. It was a hit!

Our waiter was not very attentive to us. We had to keep asking other staff to grab him. He acted as if we were an inconvenience to him just for being there. This bothered me because I had great things to say about all the other Real Hacienda restaurants in the city. He kept laughing with the people right next to us but would pass us and not respond to our calls to him. When it came time to pay the guy at front saw us and left us standing waiting for several minutes. We had to, again ask another staff member to get him. We won't be back. They were rude and dismissive. I'm a very patient person to restaurant workers because I've been one, but this disregard me and my friend both felt and we won't be back for awhile, if ever.

Called my order in, but when I arrived they seemed to have no idea what I was speaking about. Causing me to have to order again once I got to the restaurant, and waited approximately 45 minutes. I ordered a quesadilla, and sitting on top of the quesadilla in the same container sat my guacamole, sour cream, and pico, causing my quesadilla to be sitting in standing fluid. Making it extremely soggy, and causing me to toss it in the trash. Very disappointed.
