Stopped here for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Our waitress waited on us right away. I ordered the two piece french toast. I did not care for it. It is made with plain white bread. My husband ordered three eggs, grits, bacon and raisin toast. We both drank coffee and our waitress made some tea that our cup stayed filled. Overall the food was fair. *The restrooms are outside of the building.*
Stopped here for breakfast while traveling from FL to TN. Great little 'mom & pop' style spot. Food was great, came up quickly and the service was wonderful. The staff were all so friendly and treated us like we were locals. If ever passing through again, we will make a point to return.
The western omelette, hash browns, biscuits & gravy and pancakes were all very good.
Great coffee and sweet tea too.
Found this place using Google to find some place ro eat breakfast so glad we did. Food, coffee and service was very good. Husband got Ray's plate he said it was really good
He ate about half there was so much. My meat omelet was good of course as was the grits and b&g. We live in NE Oklahoma and hope our next trip to Florida brings us this way we definitely will stop
Every Saturday morning we love to go in and see Amy and Kim they always take the best care of us. The food is always yummy and comes out so quick!! Everyone is so friendly! 10/10 recommend eating here.
The vibe is small town country diner. The food small town country diner. The flavor is great. I had a bacon cheese burger and onion rings. The bacon was thick cut and not overly crispy, the burger was juice and had a savory flavor. The onion rings where made fresh and delicious. Anytime I come back to Dothan and want a burger this is where I want to go.
Went to a restart here in Dothan, been living here for a while. This was my first experience and BEST experience! My waitress’ name was Amy and she is the BEST! My son and I enjoyed her and her help! It was most definitely appreciated and helpful! Come check them out! Ask for Amy!!! LOL
Came in for the first time on Saturday 7/31/21 for breakfast. It was a small place with generally an older crowd. The waitress was really nice. My food came out FAST! It was so delicious! I'll definitely be eating here again.
This place is a must !! If your like me and you grew up in the south , grits and fried eggs are a staple food . Ray’s nailed it ! Four kids approved as well and they can be the hardest food critics ever !! If you go , be sure and ask for my girl Amy she’s amazing 🤩!
Loved my experience here. The food was hot, crispy, yet juicy. I had the fried turkey ð. Okra and hashbrown casserole. Everything tasted great. I even had leftover that tasted great the next day.
Absolutely amazing service and pastries. My husband were in town for a few days and ended up going three mornings in a row! We loved the scones! So soft and fluffy with great flavors! Blueberry, raspberry white chocolate, and Apple Cinnamon. A great
I visit the Thirsty Pig on Friday evenings when they have live music!
Itâs such a great time and they are family friendly for all ages!
They also have trivia night during the weekdays.
Pizza by the slice through the drive-through- yes please !! Veggie and cheese- service was super quick- staff was very friendly! Hours are a hit and miss but you know they are always open by the cars in the parking lot !! 10/10 !!!
In my opinion the best establishments, are discovered by word of mouth and everyone I asked in Dothan told me to check out this restaurant.
The food is served cafeteria style and you can choose the classic southern plate of one meat with three sides
This is without a doubt the friendliest restaurant in all our travels. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of from drinks to dessert!
This is now our favorite when we travel through the area.
Thank you to the staff
I take my son every year for his birthday and a couple more times with the family throughout the year! Never gets old and is so unbelievably fun! My son is only 3, and no matter the age, this place is where they can go to get ALOT of energy out and j
The Sugar Shack was great yesterday! My husband had 3 piece fried fish and I had a fried pork chop sandwich. The music, drinks, customer service and vibes were awesome. Only minor complaint was the the lettuce wasnât chopped well in the salad. Also
I saw a sign that said founded in 86, and thatâs the last time any update was made. This place is a complete dive, and I mean that in the best sense.
The interior isnât luxurious or modern. The menu is very limited, but Iâve eaten at hawker ce
