My first time here. Upon walking in the carpet is really nasty and probably been here since the place opened. They should replace it with hardwood floor. Was promptly greeted by server who is very nice. Food is really good, just needed to be hotter is all, but taste is really really good! Ordered the fish and grits.

This is a quaint mom and pop style restaurant, tucked off in a corner next to AutoZone. The restaurant is a decent enough size, and we were seated immediately. Our server came over quickly with menus and took our drink orders. She came back with the drinks and took our food order. The food didn't take long to come out of the kitchen, and everything was cooked fresh, made to order. The food was delicious!! We ordered French toast with eggs and bacon and a side of grits. The bacon was fried crispy, which is a huge PLUS for me. I hate limp bacon. The grits were creamy with no lumps, PERFECT!! It was a great first-time dining experience, and we will visit again soon. No complaints from beginning to end!

This was our first time here we wanted to try to breakfast I was a little skeptical at first and here is why, When you walk in there is a sign that says seat yourself but all the empty tables were dirty, the couple in front of us walked to a dirty table and sat down then the waitress came to clean the table so we did the same thing had to sit at a dirty table in order for it to be cleaned which is a red flag for me, the tables should be cleaned once customers leave but given it was busy with 2 servers we still wanted to give the restaurant a try. I must say don’t judge a book by its cover the food was delicious everything was seasoned to perfection service was good Thanks Kim for your hospitality.

If you want true southern food in a relaxed atmosphere that doesn't rush you out, this is your place. If you love to try the hidden gems in the rough, the ones considered a hole in the wall, then you truly do not want to miss this experience. If you want fine dining in a pristine atmosphere, then you don't want to go as you will ruin it for the rest of us who enjoy a true diner experience. People that are real size, not thin, actually can fit in the booths and such. So please everyone who loves southern food at a decent price check it out from time to time. There was a consistent stream of take out customers too.

Food was ok. The fish and liver pudding was great. The eggs taste like liquid eggs and were not cooked to my instructions. I didn’t eat the toast. The grits had a nice taste but the consistency was not to my liking. They were not smooth. Very thick and grainy, nevertheless, they were flavorful. I had the fish breakfast (fish, grits, eggs, toast )…and a side of liver pudding. $18 . That’s a bit pricey for me. The fish & pudding was good though.

This place is the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant. It may not look like much, but, the breakfast here will having you doing a happy dance. If you dine in, you will always be waited on by a friendly face who makes you feel at home. You can see many regulars smiling and laughing with the staff as they greet each other like family. I find myself craving breakfast from here at least once a week and what's great is that the food is inexpensive. I highly recommend the pancakes, hashbrowns and the grits. They are delicious and made with love. Love this place!

Enjoyed my breakfast and I understand they serve breakfast ALL DAY until 3pm. Lunch starts at 11am. The food was hot, delicious and reasonably priced. The local neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. Come as you are. The service was great. This was my first time there and I plan to return. My meal was grits, liver pudding, eggs, toast & jelly and coffee

Just an awesome little island just out from the Lake Murray Dam. Plenty of areas for fishing, camping, and exploring. You can catch beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise from the shores. You can also visit a cemetery on the island that dates back
